🎄 Christmas & New Year Closure 🎄

Just a heads up to all our customers — Dorries Angler Choice/Blinks Bait will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period so we can take a short break and spend some time with family.

We want to say a huge thank you for all the support throughout the year — it truly means a lot to us.

Weather is starting to heat up and the fishing will be great at Lake Monduran this weekend 17th-19th October 2025 for Tackle World Bundaberg Lake Monduran Family Fishing Classic.

Blinks Bait will be supplying Lake Monduran Holiday Park Kiosk with all your worm needs. 🪱 🪱

Dorries Anglers Choice/Blinks Bait has sponsored the Tilapia Catch Prize for this weekends event.

Nominations can still be done online at www.masa-fishstocking.org.au or in person from 1pm on Friday 17th October @ MASA Office.

Thank you to Northwest Insurance Bundaberg David and the great team for your kind support to this year's Tackle World Bundaberg Lake Monduran Family Fishing Classic 17th-19th October event.

If you target Australian Bass then the $1000 overall heaviest bass sponsored by Northwest Insurance Bundaberg will make your weekend even more memorable if you catch the winning Bass.

There is 1st, 2nd and 3rd each day and the overall champion angler in the Bass category for both seniors and juniors. Bass must be weighed in live and can be kept or released after weighing at either of the 2 weigh stations. Bass and all other fish entered must be captured in Lake Monduranduring the fishing times of the event.

The stocking group have arranged for some Bass fingerlings to be released by the juniors or anyone who would like to help during the upcoming family fishing classic. Times will be confirmed Friday night, but likely Saturday mid-morning at the cement ramp will be a Bass fingerlings release.TBC. More details to follow.

Worms at the Lake Monduran Holiday Park kiosk supplied by Blinks Bait will be a great option for the Bass fishing anglers. Live shrimp and trolled Lures like spinner baits and hard bodies are all in with a chance to catch a Bass.

Thanks to Cania Dam Fish Stocking Association for a great weekend of fishing and allowing us to sell bait to all the other keen fishermen.

It was a very successful weekend with us all taking home plenty of lucky draw prizes.

Little Marlee even took home the biggest Jew for juniors on Saturday Morning. Looking forward to doing this all again next year.
