Gin Gin SES We are also known for assisting some public/private events.

The Gin Gin State Emergency Service is a Volunteer Government Emergency Service Group that provides help and assistance related to storm damages and other nonlife-threatening incidents. We are a small volunteer Group, based in the Bundaberg Region, that provides help and assistance within the region, surrounding areas, and out of State. We hold training nights every First, Third and Fifth Wednesdays of every month at 7pm at 11 Flanders St, Gin Gin.

These past few weeks have been quite challenging and saddening for many of us here in the Gin Gin SES, as it has been with all of Pheobe's family, friends, community and the nation. From here in QLD to WA, the call for Pheobe was heard and the lights on at our homes could be seen from space.
We'd like to thank everyone for showing concern and love in such a tough time, and to all those who have helped towards the search for Pheobe.

May we all stand strong, together, forever.

With a 2AM start, Gin Gin SES’s dedicated volunteers were up bright and early this morning preparing for the ANZAC Day Services.

From setting up chairs and gazebos before dawn, to providing traffic control and ensuring everyone’s safety, our crew worked behind the scenes to help the event run smoothly.

We’re proud to support our community on such an important day of remembrance.

Over the past two days, Gin Gin SES proudly deployed some of it's members to Hervey Bay to assist in sandbagging and cleaning up after they recieved upwards of 300 millimeters of rainfall in just 6 hours.
