Bakersfield Bison, Horsemanship & Working Dogs Bison, horse training and working dog facilities. We are the Bakers and Bakersfield is our beautiful property located 25kms west of Gin Gin QLD.

We have a small herd of well trained Bison and plenty of quiet cattle that are ideal for all types of cow horse training. We are also passionate about teaching conscious horsemanship, we offer a range of coaching and lesson options, we also have fun ranch obstacles, mechanical cow and offer scenic trail rides and cattle mustering experiences. We also offer sessions with quiet cattle and sheep for working bred dogs at all stages, from town and country, everyone is welcome.

Losing any member of our small community is always a great loss, but to lose someone so young and promising, it really rocks us.

We were honoured to again be a part of the QLD Youth Aldridge Equestrian Challenge for 3 whopping days of coaching and judging Ranch Sorting. Such a phenomenal event! Was wonderful to meet so many great kids and see some very handy up and coming ranch sorters!
A big thank you to the Hebbermann family for the superb cattle, to Janeen and James especially and everyone that makes this gigantic event happen. Big Thanks to Dan and the brilliant Charli for helping out and Kristy for the photos. 🫶

Ashleigh's clinics are fantastic for all riders to grow, refine and problem solve. It is a fun, friendly and supportive environment to reach those riding goals! Likely to sell out quickly.

Sorry guys my secretary put the wrong dates on for this clinic 🫣 it will be on the 22nd and 23rd of March.
We are possibly running a follow-up clinic on the 12th and 13th of April but it is yet to be confirmed. My apologies for any inconvenience this has caused 🥺
