Super excited for what is next with Sandros!
This sand dancing stuff is actually quite fun 🥰

He is super happy to be home and out in his big paddock after travelling home very well with Isabella Day .
He will have a couple of weeks rest now before coming back into work to help with the baby’s first outings and trail rides. My goal for the second half of 2026 with Sandros is to learn and play with some higher level dressage tests while I have such an educated lovely horse, and I’m sure we will fit showjumping in there!

Wow what a week! And 2 months!

Whilst it wasn’t the ending we were hoping for there is so many positives to take home with our podium finish at Melbourne 4* L 🥉

Firstly I just have the most incredible horse that tries his heart out and who I’m so grateful for 💙💙💙 I am very excited to finally have him on his way home!

Our dressage was a PB and without our little additional tempi change and canter step I think we have our sites set on a sub 30!

Cross country; well he is just a machine who always wants to jump through the flags, and that massive gallop stride of his is there to make time!

Showjumping, I know we will get our clear rounds back that he is capable of and we have plans going forward to get back there. Monday wasn’t our day but it’s moments like that build resilience and drive. As hard as it is and disappointing at the time to have those rails, I try to remind myself what an achievement 3rd place is and what 12 year old me would say if I told her I got a profound finish at one of the biggest events in Aus.

This trip was a huge team effort. The biggest thank you goes to .eventing and team Tinney, and .ingham.chicken.love.em ! Between Adelaide and Melbourne I had to return work and leave Fluffy with Kate and the Tinney’s. I couldn’t say thank you enough for the care and time they put into Fluffy!! Also all of the support from Stuart at Melbourne was invaluable!

Well done to the whole of team WA at the event, our team effort and support of each other is second to none!

Thank you also to .eventing_08 for being a fantastic groom at Melbourne plus my incredible cool down teams post cross country Bev Ingham

Next steps; get my boy home and give him a good break before going and playing with some higher level dressage tests and probably go and do some showjumping.

Huge thank you to my sponsors for all their support

The Horseland Cross-country has proven influential in the Pryde's EasiFeed CCI4*-L, with several combinations moving up the leaderboard after a demanding day on course at Werribee Park.

Kenya Wilson and Sandros Salute MW have moved into the lead after producing one of the few clear rounds inside the time, finishing the day on 31.2 penalties.

David Middleton and WEC In The Breeze sit second on 35.4, while Charlee Morton-Sharp and SV Supermaxi hold third on 35.6 following another consistent performance.

Zachary Thorne and Wu Gok are fourth on 37.0, with Mackenzie Walch and Eliva Corduroy rounding out the top five on 37.4.

Andrew Cooper and Ocean Eight remain well within striking distance in sixth on 37.7, with just 2.3 penalties separating second through sixth heading into the final phase.

With the leaderboard closely packed and little room for error, tomorrow's showjumping will decide the 2026 Pryde's EasiFeed CCI4*-L title.

Is anyone available at 7am at Murray?

I managed to cover most things with my FIFO eventing with everything being in NSW with Sandros…. EXCEPT I didn’t think of a needle and thread for Chloe’s plaits… 😅😅
