Last night we had Bronte and Dave fighting on the Anzac day Masters competition in Perth.

Bay of Isles took home 1 win and 1 lesson on the night.

First up was Bronte Hind (AhChee) in a rematch with a previous opponent in Steph Borchovsky. Bronte boxed beautifully from start to finish landing some lightning shots and making her opponent miss with a great display of distance control and footwork. Bronte has really put the effort in this prep and coach couldn't be more proud. What a dominant display 👏

Next up was Dave "The wrecking ball" Revell taking on Houssam Touleb from our brother club "Seconds Out". We took this fight knowing it would be a challenge coming up against such a silky and foxy opponent in H. Dave boxed really well and controlled the first round off his solid jab. A close second round saw the guys with it all to fight for going into the 3rd. Work rate was all that let us down into the last round and we leave with lessons learned for the future. Coach couldn't be more proud of both of our fighters!

A big thanks to coach Cam Ryan for all of his help behind the scenes, the guys are really progressing with your input and guidance. Thanks to our fellow team mates Tash and Elaine for making the trip up to cheer the guys on. Another big thanks to both of the opponents and to Sean Spence and James Lindley for running such an awesome event.

Last weekend we had our very own Bronte Ahchee competing in Perth for the annual Queen of the Ring tournament 👑

Unfortunately we didn't get the win this time around...
Congratulations to our opponent for the victory, it was well deserved.

Massive thanks to all our support back home in Esperance and to Brontes Mum and Dad for making the trip to be there in person. Another big thanks to James Lindley and the Seconds Out crew for helping in the corner and for always giving us a gym away from home. We truly appreciate you guys!

Thanks also to my Mum Myra for having us and for letting the kids destroy the house 🤣. We couldn't do it without everybody's support!

Last night we had Dave Revell competing in the 2025 MBA Golden Gloves tournament in Queensland.

This was Dave’s first fight back since the 1990’s. Going down narrowly on points to a very tough opponent coached by Hall of Famer and multiple world champion, John Wayne Parr.

We couldn’t be more proud of Dave for getting back in the ring, a true inspiration to the younger generation.

Well done Dave, onto the next 🥊
