Champion Bay SLSC

Champion Bay SLSC Champion Bay SLSC patrols Champion Beach Geraldton each Sunday during the summer months from 9am - 1pm. Senior members are always welcome. Training is available.

We run a nipper program to educate children in surf safety through fun and sporting activities. WHAT WE DO AT CHAMPION BAY SLSC
We pride ourselves on being a family club that is widely involved in the Geraldton Community. FOR KIDS (Ages 5-13)
We run a Nipper programme from November to March, giving kids the confidence and skills to keep themselves safe at the beach and a start on the path to being

a potential Lifesaver and community participant. FOR PARENTS
At the very least you get an excuse to sit on the beach on Sunday morning. Parent Involvement allows us to expand our programme and we are always happy for you to help out. Please let us know if you are keen. Parents can assist with age managing, water safety, setting up, packing away, sausage sizzle, carnival duties and other jobs that pop up. FOR YOUTH (Ages 13-15)
Our programme continues through all ages and our youth members are able to access training and leadership opportunities. Extra incentives and mentoring is offered to encourage club, sporting and community involvement. FOR ADULTS
Training & Fellowship – Join our team, keep fit, become a lifesaver. NKNC – Social Ocean Swimming – all abilities welcome. Other social training as participants see fit – ski paddling, SUP etc. FOR THE COMMUNITY
Patrolling Champion Beach from November to March. Providing Water Safety for Community Events and Groups. Running and assisting with Community Events– Champion Bay Challenge, Australia Day Beach Party, Swimming WA OWS, Geraldton Triathlon & others. Community Training –Surf Rescue Certification for school staff, Senior First Aid for community members, groups and businesses. Morning training programme - Midwest Football Academy.
