The 2026 junior windup is this Thursday 17th September at The Rovers Clubrooms, Alexander Park, 4.40 - 5.50 pm. There will be a free sausage sizzle, bouncy castle, Lollie's and presentations of medals and trophies.

Hi Rovers members and soccer community. Please see the below notice from the City regarding upcoming road closures and detours

📢 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

On Monday 25 May 2026 Stage Two of the Flores and Eastward Roads Roundabout Project will begin and take approximately six weeks to complete.

🚧 During this time the Eastward Road and Alexander Street intersection will be closed to traffic with detours in place. Flores Road will remain open to traffic traveling in both directions.

Access to the Geraldton Cemetery and Utakarra Ball Park will not be affected. P.S. Chester and Son, Geraldton Rovers Soccer Club and the Utakarra residential area between the cemetery and Edward Road will be accessible via a detour from Edward Road.

Reconfiguring the two T-intersections into a four-leg roundabout will significantly improve safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

We appreciate your patience while these works are being completed.

This project aligns with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the transport network.

Geraldton has begun looking for its next junior country week squads, with the Junior Soccer Association putting out calls for interested players to try out at the end of the month

Huge congratulations to Rueben on claiming a
National Bronze medal in the Under 18 400m Hurdles with an impressive finish in 53.76.

What an amazing effort, Geraldton Athletics Centre are so proud of your achievements.
