As the wheel of the year turns and we arrive at the Winter Solstice, we welcome the longest night and the quiet invitation to slow down, soften, and turn inward.
Winter is a season of stillness, reflection, and restoration ~ a time to honour rest, conserve our energy, and reconnect with what truly nourishes us beneath the busyness of everyday life.
Join us for a sacred evening of ritual, rest, and deep nourishment as we gather in community to honour this seasonal transition together.
Our ceremony will begin with ceremonial cacao, a heart-opening plant medicine traditionally used to support connection, reflection, and intention setting.
From there, we will move into a slow and grounding Yin Yoga practice, allowing the body to soften and release held tension. Throughout the practice, you will be immersed in sound meditation, using vibration and tone to calm the nervous system and guide the mind into stillness.
We will close the evening with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation often referred to as yogic sleep, allowing the body and mind to fully integrate, rest, and restore.
This evening is an invitation to pause, reconnect with yourself, and honour the wisdom of the season — embracing the beauty of slowing down before the gradual return of light.
