On the weekend, the team travelled to Perth for the Limited Sprintcar Awards Night to commemorate the 2025/26 season. The team is incredibly proud of its efforts this season, finishing with our best ever qualifying position (P2), three heat race wins, our first ever podium finish at the state title (P2), and an overall finish of 6th for the season.

After a season full of hard work, late nights, and plenty of determination, the team was honoured to receive three awards at the Limited Sprintcar Awards Night:
- Best Presented Crew
- Most Improved
- Chief Steward Award

These awards reflect the effort that goes on behind the scenes every single race weekend. None of it would have been possible without all the members of the Patience Racing Team who give their time, effort, and support week after week.

Henry would personally like to thank Ethan, Olivia, Mason, Sophie, Macy, Tom, Travis, Bailey, Kieren and his parents for everything they’ve done throughout the season. And a very special shoutout to his 3-year-old niece Grace for all the sticker repairs on the fuel tank along the way.

Patience Racing would also like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors for their continued support and for giving us the opportunity to represent their colours this season. We’re already looking ahead to the off-
season and preparing for next season.

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the year. We can’t wait to see you all trackside again next season.

On the weekend, the team contested the final round of the 2025/26 Limited Sprintcar Series at the Perth Motorplex.

The night began strongly with a win in the first heat after starting from P4. Hoping to build on that momentum, the team started P3 in the second heat. However, the car dropped back to P5 during the race and was unable to regain positions, primarily due to gearing limitations.

Despite a more challenging second heat, the results secured a P6 starting position for the feature race.

In the feature, Henry made an early charge, gaining several positions in the opening laps to move into P3. Over the course of the 20 lap race, he consistently challenged for P2 along the wall, applying sustained pressure throughout. In the closing laps, however, he was overtaken by another car, resulting in a P4 finish.

The team is very proud of this result, marking its best finish to date at the Perth Motorplex and a strong way to conclude the season.

Heat 1: P4 -> P1
Heat 2: P3 -> P5
Feature: P6 -> P4

We would also like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors for their continued support.

On Saturday, the team had the pleasure of competing in the Limited Sprintcar State Title at our home track in Geraldton.

The night started strongly, with Henry securing P2 in qualifying, our best result to date. Following qualifying, the team started out P1 for our first heat. Despite a chaotic race with multiple restarts, Henry kept it clean and drove an excellent race to take the win.

For the second heat, the grid was reversed, starting us from P8. Based on earlier results, the focus was on moving forward and finishing cleanly. Henry made up several positions to finish P5.

With the car feeling comfortable all night, the team was confident heading into the feature, starting from P2. Unfortunately, we were caught up in an incident in the first corner on the initial start, but were fortunate to escape with only minor wing damage. From there, the race turned into a chase for the lead. We were right on the leader’s tail tank through lapped traffic, but ultimately finished in P2.

Overall, the team was extremely pleased with the result. Securing second place in the WA State Title, especially at our home track and in front of our local sponsors, made it a very rewarding night.

Results
Qualifying: P2
Heat 1: P1 -> P1
Heat 2: P8 -> P5
Feature: P2 -> P2

The team backed it up the following night at the Midwest Championships, delivering another strong performance to secure P2 overall.

Saturday the 7th marked Round 11 of the Limited Sprintcar Series at Moora Speedway.

The night began well, with Henry feeling comfortable in the car during hot laps. Heat 1 saw Henry start from P1, but after struggling early to find the right line, he slipped back to P3 in the opening laps. Once he settled in, Henry was able to find his rhythm and showed good speed, but was unable to regain the lost positions.

In Heat 2, Henry started from P7 and made a strong start, quickly gaining several positions and ultimately finishing P4.

These results placed Henry a P9 starting position in the feature. The race began strongly, with him making up a few positions in the opening stages, but it was unfortunately cut short when he felt a sudden loss of power and pulled the car to the infield.

It was a disappointing way to end the night, but the team will now investigate the issue and focus on preparing the car for the upcoming Geraldton State Title in a few weeks’ time.

Heat 1: P1 -> P3
Heat 2: P7 -> P4
Feature: P9 -> DNF

Saturday night saw the team contest Round 10 of the Limited Sprintcar Series at the Perth Motorplex.

Our night began positively, with a strong drive in Heat 1. Starting from P6, Henry worked his way forward through the field, reaching P2 and ultimately crossing the line in P4. In Heat 2, we unfortunately missed the mark. Starting from P7, Henry struggled to find a comfortable balance in the car, which made it difficult to maintain pace and resulted in us finishing P9. These results placed us starting from P9 for the 15-lap main event.

The feature began steadily, with Henry taking the opening laps to assess track conditions and identify the most effective racing line. As the race progressed, he committed to running against the wall, which allowed the car to come alive and resulted in significant forward progress, gaining multiple positions within a short period. However, after being overlapped by the race leader prior to an earlier restart, we remained a lap down to some of the cars we were able to pass on track. Following two separate incidents, the race was declared early after 13 laps, with the team officially finishing in P8.

Overall, the team was encouraged by the pace shown in the latter stages of the feature and the progress made throughout the night. We look forward to continuing to build on this momentum and gaining further experience in the rounds ahead.

Heat 1: P6 -> P4
Heat 2: P7 -> P9
Feature: P9 -> P8

Saturday night marked Round 9 of the Limited Sprintcar Series at Attwell Park Speedway in Albany. The night began positively, with our strongest qualifying performance to date, securing 5th place and setting us up with solid starting positions for the heat races.

In Heat 1, we started from P3 but dropped back a position at the start and struggled to regain ground due to challenging track conditions. Heat 2 saw us start from P6, where we were able to make up two positions to finish P4. However, towards the end of the race, we noticed the car was not pulling out of the corners as expected, which we initially attributed to our gear ratio.

Our combined heat results placed us P7 for the feature race. During the feature, the car continued to struggle, ultimately resulting in a P9 finish. Following the feature, we removed the bonnet and discovered the air filter was completely blocked due to the excessive dust caused by the poor track conditions, which explained the lack of performance.

Qualifying: P5
Heat 1: P3 -> P4
Heat 2: P6 -> P4
Feature: P7 -> P9

We would like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors for their continued support.

Last night our team had the opportunity to compete in the annual King of the Hill event at our home track, Geraldton City Speedway.

The night began steadily, recording P3 in hot laps and P10 in qualifying. These results placed us P5 and P2 for our two heats.

In Heat 1, we started from P5 and showed promising speed, but lost brakes mid-race which limited our progress. We crossed the line in P6. After the race, we identified a leaking brake line on the front caliper, replaced it, and prepared the car for Heat 2.
For Heat 2, we started on the front row out of P2 and moved into the lead early. Henry maintained a strong pace and took the win with a clear margin, securing the team’s first-ever heat race victory in the Limited Sprintcar Series.

These combined results placed us seventh on points for the night, giving us a P7 starting position for the 25-lap feature. Our speed was strong throughout the feature, however passing remained difficult due to ongoing brake issues on the tight, technical track. The team was pleased to finish P6 overall and achieve our first heat race win in the series. We will now prepare the car for a quick turnaround ahead of racing in Albany this weekend.

Hot Laps: P3
Qualifying: P10
Heat 1: P5 -> P6
Heat 2: P2 -> P1
Feature: P7 -> P6

Patience Racing opened the new year with a busy double-header weekend, racing at Perth Motorplex on January 2 before backing it up at Bunbury on January 3.

The weekend began at Perth Motorplex, where we faced a challenging start to the night. After starting P9 and finishing P9 in the opening heat, the team made several adjustments to the car ahead of Heat 2. Those changes paid off, with a strong P3 finish after starting from P2. These results placed us P13 on the grid for the feature race. Despite the tough starting position, the team charged through the field to secure a P7 finish, earning our first Hard Charger award.

Perth Motorplex Results
Heat 1: P9 -> P9
Heat 2: P2 -> P3
Feature: P13 -> P7

Bunbury presented similar challenges, with the car proving extremely tight and difficult to drive early in the night. Heat 1 saw us finish P10 after starting P9. Following some significant setup changes, we returned much stronger in Heat 2, finishing P2 from a P2 start. These results set us up with a P12 starting position for the feature race. Despite very rough track conditions, we worked our way forward to finish P6.

Bunbury Results
Heat 1: P9 -> P10
Heat 2: P2 -> P2
