🔥 THE REDS ARE GOING UP! 🔴🇮🇹
LA FIAMMA HAVE SECURED A TOP-TWO FINISH!
The Mighty Reds have secured promotion after a hard-fought 2–0 victory over Wanneroo at home on Saturday night, ending a 27-year drought.
La Fiamma came out on the front foot and were rewarded late in the first half when Kumbi Dzoma calmly converted from the penalty spot. The Reds headed into the break with a 1–0 lead and 45 minutes standing between them and promotion.
The second half was a physical battle, but La Fiamma remained largely in control. Chance after chance was created, with Wanneroo doing everything they could to stay in the contest.
Simuteya Sikazwe found the back of the net, sending a huge sigh of relief across the Salvatore Sciuto Stadium and putting the Reds within touching distance of promotion.
As the rain came down, the minutes ticked away and then came the final whistle

For the first time since the club’s 1999 Premiership season, the Mighty Reds have earned promotion.
But the job isn’t finished yet…
La Fiamma travel to John Connell Reserve at 3pm on Sunday, September 13, to face Leeming SC.
A win will see the Reds return to Geraldton as League Champions. A defeat will leave the title race to the final round and put the pressure of delivering a win at home in the final game of the season.
One more game. One more push.
