Phone all on 99641664 or visit www.gycwa.com.au We are also home to the Geraldton & Districts Fishing Club. GYC is the premier sailing club in the Midwest region of WA. The clubhouse is located along the shorelines of the pristine waters of Champion Bay, with spectacular views in all directions. Currently over 130 members are involved in the club sailing on dinghies, catamaran and keelboats/cruisers, ranging in age from 8 years to nonagenarian (90+). The more senior sailors offer training and support to the young guns each Sunday morning during the season October to May. Regattas and State Titles are regularly held at GYC. The club offers training to all levels of sailors from entry to the more experienced sailor. Try Sail Days are held in October and throughout the season for those who have a interest in the ocean and water activities. The club boasts a community family atmosphere that supports each and every member. GYC is the number one function centre for corporate workshops, weddings, parties and everything in between. A huge thank you to everyone who came down today and supported the Club. It was wonderful seeing so many members and guests enjoying the beautiful view, delicious food, great music, drinks and plenty of laughs.

Less than 50 days to go before the start of the Geraldton Ocean Classic! SoPYC is proud to partner with Geraldton Yacht Club to support WA's ocean racing scene along with the event being part Ocean Racing WAs series.

Entries are now open for this iconic destination event, now in its 54th edition. Participation is essential for ORWA teams looking to win the upcoming season's Blue Water series!

This Cat 2 race serves as the perfect way to gear up for a Sydney Hobart, and is part of the approved qualifying races for skippers and crews.

Dad's got enough novelty socks to last a lifetime. Give him a proper feed by the water instead.

Chef J**s and the team are putting on a Father's Day Feast at the Yacht Club this Sunday 6 September, and they haven't held back.

To start, burnt ends, bite-sized smoked brisket, slow cooked until tender and coated in a sticky BBQ glaze, or maple pork skewers, grilled and glazed in sweet maple. $24 each.

For mains, beef cheeks slow-braised in a rich red w**e reduction with aromatic herbs, served over creamy buttery mash and seasonal veg. Or marinated lamb loin chops with mash, veg and house-made gravy. $36 each.

Bar opens 11:30am, meals from 12pm. Our full menu is available as well, so the whole family is sorted, and there's a cold one at the bar with his name on it. 🍻

🚀 A safer season on the water at GYC

Geraldton Yacht Club is pleased to have our Rescue Support Boat upgraded with a new Yamaha 15hp outboard motor.

The new motor will help provide safer and more reliable on-water support for Junior Sailing, Sailability, training, racing and other Club activities.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of the City of Greater Geraldton through the Community Grants Program, which assisted with this important safety upgrade.
