Georgetown Golf Club Georgetown Golf Course located in the Mid North of South Australia. Course maintained year round.

Competition season April to September on Sundays with Tee off at 12.30pm. Post competition season, October to March, Tee off normally Sunday at 4pm.

The Wade Ormsby Ambrose weekend (August 15 and 16) has been a fabulous time of learning from the coaching (Saturday), socialisation with a beautiful meal, live music and drinks (Saturday evening) and then on Sunday a great 9 hole round with 16 teams of 4 players competing for the Georgetown Wade Ormsby Ambrose Shield.

A massive thank you to our guest Wade Ormsby for his time, patience and the encouragement shown to all who participated in the weekend.

Congratulations to Crawf’s Crushers Team (Tom Crawford, Ben Martin, Jake Hodby and Brad Eastwood) on winning the 2026 Shield.

Tang on this occasion will be supported by Greg (Short Wheelbase) Smallwood on percussion.
Great night anticipated.

For $30/adult, $10 under 12yrs Attendees get a 2 course spit roast meal, live music, drinks for purchase, auction and an opportunity to enjoy Wade Ormsby, our professional golfer guest having an informal chat with Chook Harslett.

SATURDAY 15th AUGUST - EVENTS SCHEDULE
10am - Registrations for the free coaching sessions
10.30am - Coaching Session 1
12pm - Lunch - Sausage sizzle
1pm - Coaching session 2
2.30pm - Longest drive and nearest the pin competition (Prizes)......... $5 for three shots/balls
4pm Nibbles and drinks
6.30pm - Evening with Wade - Drinks, spit roast dinner (2 course), auction (Live music by Andrew Tang Lange)
Saturday evening adult cost $30/head, Children 12 and under $10/head

A little over four weeks till our weekend with Wade. This will be a great opportunity for all golfers and non-golfers to mix and chat with a professional golfer who has played internationally, including the LIV competition.
