A social lawn bowls comp for everyone with a BBQ held over 4 Wednesday nights from 2nd November 2016. Highton Bowls Club invites you and 2 partners/friends/family, or your organisation, to enter a team of 3 players in our Twilight Competition for “Novice“ bowlers. Games to commence at 6.20 pm on 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings, from 2nd November 2016. Your team of 3 will have an experienced bowle

r on the green to assist you with your bowling, and to show you how to play and enjoy a game against another team. Teams may change players over the four games (in case of other commitments or illness etc.). Complimentary BBQ will be operating prior to play commencing. CONDITIONS OF PLAY:
A team shall consist of 3 players, all of whom shall be non registered/inexperienced bowlers. An experienced bowler will help and instruct, and act as team manager. Teams can change players each week.

$10 per player each week. Shorts permitted, singlet tops not permitted. Bowls will be provided as required. Prizes awarded over 4 weeks, plus nightly prizes & novelties.

A quick check of the scores after two rounds shows "Wreck It Ralph" are in the lead, continuing their strong form from last year. Not to be underestimated are "To Liqy or To Not Liqy" who showed a solid performance in round 2 catapulting themselves to second position!

Are you ready to roll for tomorrow night?
We've got over 60 players signed up so we're in for a good competition!!
Practice is available from 5:30 pm, arrive by 6 pm for the BBQ and to collect your bowls. Cost is $10 per player each week.

If you know anyone interested who is currently not in a team they are welcome to come along, we've a few spare players so we might be able to make up new teams and get everyone a game.
