Rd 2 of the National Series - I was feeling really fast and smooth all day until one bad move set off a chain of events in the final that ended my day with broken handlebars.

Bike is brand new again thanks to Grant at CTD Industries and John at Trail & Track Cycles.

Resetting ready for Junior Elite tomorrow.

Had a practice run for nationals last weekend at the State Series in Shepparton.

I was happy to make podium in Superclass.

Excited to be back in 2 weeks to do it all over again.

Some missing skin and a chunk out of my elbow is all i have to show from the Oceania Championships in Brisbane last weekend.

I hit the deck in the main on day 1 and went out in the Semi on day 2.

I came in too confident and payed the price. Made too many mistakes and didn’t ride like myself, and that’s not on. Had a few good laps over the weekend but nothing special, learning from the good and the bad.

Massive thank you to everyone in my corner. I will get it done next time. It’s heads down now and i’m hungry for Nationals in April.

I feel privileged to have been recognised as a contributor to Geelong’s sporting life.

I was honoured to be invited by Geelong All-Abilities Sports Club to hang with them at the Cadel Evans Family Ride last night. I had a fantastic time and met lots of new faces including Cadel Evans himself. I always have fun with these guys…
