Located at West Oval on Church Street, the Geelong West Giants is the local community’s family sporting club. The Geelong West Giants have a unique structure in the Geelong region. With football and netball teams in both the Geelong Football and Netball League (GFNL) and the Geelong and District Football and Netball League (GDFNL). 2027 JUNIOR FOOTBALL COACHING | EOI

We’re building something big at the Giants & it’s time to get on board.

Expressions of Interest are now open for our Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 Junior Football coaching positions for 2027.

Next season also marks the launch of the Geelong West Giants Junior Football & Netball Academy, a major investment in developing the skills, performance, wellbeing and leadership of our young athletes.

We’re looking for high-quality coaches who want to be part of that vision for our male and female teams.

Coaches who want to develop players, build strong teams and help create a genuine pathway from junior football through to senior level.

If you’re passionate, ambitious and want to be part of what we’re building, we want to hear from you.

2027 is just the beginning.

NATHAN STORER | 2027 GFNL SENIOR FOOTBALL ASSISTANT COACH

We’re thrilled to announce that Nathan Storer will join Buddha as a GFNL Senior Football Assistant Coach for the 2027 season.

A much-loved and highly respected across the Giants, Nathan’s commitment, care and leadership have been outstanding, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything he has given the club.

We’re excited to have Nathan continuing his journey with the Giants and working alongside Buddha and the coaching team as we build towards 2027.

Here’s to an amazing season ahead. Big things are happening at the Giants.

Our 2025 A Grade Runner-Up Best & Fairest is returning home to the Giants, bringing the intensity, grit, competitiveness and just about everything we love about having her out on court.
