Gawler Squash Club

Unfortunately, the Gawler Squash Club has lost access to the courts we have called home for years. With no other courts available in Gawler, we now find ourselves unable to accept any bookings or provide a venue for social squash.

While terribly disappointing, we’re hopeful this is not the end for the club. We still have people working to try and find solutions, but we’re unsure what might change or when that might happen. We will try and share any future updates here.

Thank You to everyone who has put in time and effort over the years, and especially in recent months, to try and keep the club going. Thank You to those who are continuing to work towards a future for Squash in Gawler. And Thank You to everyone who to everyone who has visited the centre over the years; your support has been appreciated.

In the meantime, for those still looking to play, there closest courts are at Tanunda (Barossa Valley Squash Club), Mawson Lakes (Uni SA Squash Club), Modbury (Karadinga Squash Club), and Ingle Farm (Ingle Farm Squash Club). There’s been a lot of planning going on behind the scenes at the Gawler Squash Club, and we’re excited to announce what we’re calling the Gawler Squash Symposium, to be held this Wednesday (19th May). We’re hoping to have a day of activities around the squash centre involving players of all ages, culminating in a visit from the Mayor and members of the Gawler Council in the evening.

Hi all. Recently you may have heard of some issues facing the Squash Club regarding court availability. We have some fantastic members working behind the scenes to ensure we can continue in to the future. As part of that process, we'd like to call an AGM for this Friday, the 23rd of April, 8pm at the Gawler Squash Club. Anyone is welcome; current or former players, or even those who would just like to learn more about the club.

We hope to keep the meeting relatively short. Feel free to bring your squash gear if you'd like to hang around for a hit afterwards.
