Please see attached the link to register for the TSKF South Australian Training and Titles to be held from 18th to 19th July 2026 at Trinity College in Evanston Gardens. We are very fortunate to have Hirata Sensei running our State Training sessions and Competition over the two days. Please register immediately to participate in two days of fantastic training and competition fun.

In addition to a fabulous weekend, grading will be conducted at our Dojo Friday 17th July.

Check out this incredible demonstration of Heian Shodan! Great example to lead towards 👌😊

Heian Shodan has 21 movements, using the front and back stances, along with the low block, high block, knife-hand block, and reverse punch.

Today, members from our dojo attended a state training seminar with Nemoto Sensei, followed by a grading. Massive congratulations to everyone that graded today! Please continue to train hard and learn from what Nemoto showed us today, as well as from our instructors at the dojo.

Our dojo results from the 2026 National Championships are as follows:

Seth - 1st Kata
Bowie - 2nd Kata
Amber - 3rd Kata and 1st Kumite
Adam - 2nd Kata
Zach - 2nd Kata (18-21), 1st Kumite (18-21), 3rd Kumite (open men’s)
Caitlin - 3rd Kata and 1st Kumite

And a very special mention to our senior judges Lester, Barry and Glenn, who undertook their judges and instructors qualifications to continue providing authentic karate instruction at our dojo! Also, to Glenn Sensei who received his 20 year dedication to karate award, as well as Lester Sensei who received his 30 year dedication to karate award!

Well done again to everyone who attended!!!

What an amazing week at the National Championships in Caloundra! 🥋
After three days of training and two days of competition, Gawler dojo showed incredible dedication, spirit, and determination. Everyone trained and competed with distinction, representing our dojo well.
A huge congratulations to Caitlin and Zach, who have been selected for the National Team and will represent Australia at the World Cup in Mexico this October! 🇲🇽🌏
We finished the event with a fantastic celebration dinner and couldn’t be prouder of everyone.
