Softball is a fantastic sport that offers something for everyone. It develops teamwork, coordination, resilience, and sportsmanship while keeping participants engaged and active. One of the things we love most about softball is that it is truly a family sport. Children, parents, siblings, and grandparents can all be involved, whether as players, coaches, volunteers, or supporters, making it a wonderful way for families to connect and be part of their local community.

Our Kangas family is rallying behind one of our own — our incredible teammate and friend, Mon, who is bravely fighting breast cancer. 💗🦘

Steph has put together a heartfelt fundraiser to help support Mon through treatment, daily expenses, and everything in between. Every badge, every pen, every dollar is a reminder to Mon that she’s not facing this fight alone.

Kangas isn’t just about coming together on the diamond — it’s about showing up for each other when life gets tough. 💛💪

This week, a few of our members rallied around a mate who tragically lost their home in a fire earlier this year. In true Kangas spirit, they stepped in, lent a hand, and reminded us all what community really means.

We play hard, we care harder.

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS... WE WANT YOU!!!

There will be group training sessions running at Karbeethan starting Wednesday 15th July 2026!!!

We will be running sessions based on learning positions and then some batting.. over 5 weeks.

The 1st week will be 1st and 2nd base skills
The 2nd week will be shortstop and 3rd base skills
The 3rd week will be outfield skills
The 4th week will be pitching and catching
The 5th week will be putting it all together and running a mini game.

Each week will focus on warm up, and some batting as well.

If you can make all the sessions amazing.. if you can only make some thats ok too.
