A HUGE THANK YOU TO SUPERIOR IRRIGATION SERVICES!

Lockyer Tennis Association Inc. would like to give a massive shout-out to Superior Irrigation Services for their generous donation of hose and a sprinkler system for our newly resurfaced courts!

This fantastic donation will make maintaining and watering our new court surface so much easier, helping us keep the courts in great condition for our members and the wider tennis community.

We truly appreciate the support of local businesses like Superior Irrigation Services. Your generosity makes a real difference to our club and helps us continue to provide quality facilities for everyone to enjoy.

Official Opening of Our Newly Resurfaced Tennis Courts!

We proudly celebrated the newly resurfaced courts - a fantastic milestone for the Lockyer Tennis Association Inc and our community.

A huge thank you to:

- Lockyer Valley Regional Council for their generous funding and investment in community sporting infrastructure will benefit players of all ages and abilities for many years to come.
- Our current members and volunteers for their incredible effort preparing the courts, saving the Association thousands of dollars and ensuring the recycling and repurposing of sand and old court surfaces saved disposal fees and helped other local sporting clubs.
- Former Gatton Tennis Club members for their foresight and generosity which helped lay the foundation for this project.
- Tennis Queensland for their guidance and support throughout the project.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate, including Mayor Tanya Milligan, Deputy Mayor Chris Wilson, Cr Michael Hagan, Cr Anthony Wilson, Cr Cheryl Steinhardt and Cr Julie Reck, life members, former Gatton Tennis Club members and Tennis Queensland representatives.

These new courts are a testament to what can be achieved when a community works together. We look forward to seeing players of all ages enjoying them for many years to come.

Here’s to the future of tennis in the Lockyer Valley!

Looking for a fun way to spend your evening? Come along for Social Tennis tonight!

Good news! Our Contractor is putting the finishing touches on our brand new courts. So, we will be re-opening our courts from Monday, 20 July.

In preparation for this, we will be holding a little Working Bee from 8.30am on Sunday morning. Even if you could spare an hour, that would be greatly appreciated.

We are also on the lookout for a Welder. Please reach out if anyone could help us out with a small job!
