2025 Garden Suburb Summer Sixes Update

After many years of running our Summer Sixes competition, we’ve had to make the tough call to give 2025 a miss.

With the ongoing wet weather and the forecast for more heavy rainfall over the coming months, we know it would be a challenge to deliver the fun, reliable comp that everyone looks forward to. Despite our best efforts to come up with a Plan B, the risk of last-minute washouts, the short season timeframe, and the travel some of our teams face all factored into our decision.

We know this is disappointing - it wasn’t an easy choice to make, but in the best interests of our players, referees, volunteers and organisers, we believe it’s the right one.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back in Summer 2026 and can’t wait to see the fields full of football fun again. ⚽💛

Unfortunately tonight's games have been postponed. They will be replayed on Thursday 19th December - same times as originally scheduled.

Unfortunately due to the rain last night, as well as this afternoon's storm, tonight's games have been postponed. They will be replayed on Wednesday 18th December - same times as originally scheduled.

TUESDAY & THURSDAY TEAMS

We have rescheduled your catch up games over the remaining Tuesday nights in the competition starting this Thursday 14th November for THURSDAY teams and next Tuesday 19th November for TUESDAY teams.

Please refer to the draw for game updates.

We have had to move a few teams and matches to accommodate the catch ups. If your team is unable to play the catch up game, please notify us as soon as possible as it may impact other teams outside of your opponent.

Just a reminder to all teams if you play the final game on the field each night, you are expected to packdown their field by moving the goals to their designated area. Please refer to the match schedule to check if you are on setup or packdown duties of your field each week.
