Townsville Warriors Football Club Townsville Warriors Football Club are a community football (soccer) club which competes in the North Located at Melrose Park - 1 Chandler Street Garbutt.

Townsville Warriors Football Club is a club for Junior and Senior players. Senior Men's training is held on Tuesday & Thursday nights running from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Senior Women’s training is held on Tuesdays & Wednesday nights running 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Our 2027 QPL and Kangaroo trials are open to ALL players who would like the opportunity to trial for one of our teams.

⭐ OPEN & FAIR SELECTION

Trials will be conducted under the guidance of a qualified Football Queensland B Licence coach Josh Small

Our selection process is designed to provide every player who attends with an equal and fair opportunity to demonstrate their ability.

Selections will be based on what players demonstrate during the trial process, with all trialling players considered on the same basis.

We look forward to welcoming new and returning players to Townsville Warriors for the 2027 season.

🏆 2026 Junior Club Person of the Year – Suzanne Cunningham 🏆

A huge congratulations to Suzanne Cunningham, our 2026 Junior Club Person of the Year! 💚🖤

Suz jumped onto the committee this year and has been a fantastic addition to the Warriors family. She has quickly got stuck in, putting her hand up to help wherever she can and becoming a valued part of the club.

As well as her committee responsibilities, Suz has also been busy helping coach and manage our Under 14 Division 1 and FQPL U14–16 teams, giving up plenty of her time to support our players, coaches and families.

Her commitment, willingness to get involved and the amount of work she puts in behind the scenes is a great example of what makes a strong club volunteer.

We are very lucky to have Suz on board and couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.

🏆 2026 Junior Male Coach of the Year – Adam Cheesewright 🏆

A huge congratulations to Adam Cheesewright, our 2026 Junior Male Coach of the Year! 💚⚽️

Adam has taken on the challenge of coaching two teams this season — our Under 13s and Division 1 Youth — and has done an outstanding job with both groups.

Managing two teams is no small commitment. From training and game days to supporting players, working with families and helping develop our young Warriors, Adam has consistently put in the time and effort to make sure his players get the best experience possible.

His dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to go the extra mile have made a real difference to both teams throughout the season.

Congratulations Adam — a very well-deserved award and a fantastic recognition of the work you have put in this year! 👏

Congratulations to Simone Robinson, who has been awarded the 2026 Female Junior Coach of the Year! 💚⚽️

Simone has been fantastic with our little Warriors this season, taking on the challenge of looking after several teams and giving so much of her time, energy and enthusiasm to our junior players.

It’s pretty safe to say Simone has enjoyed the year just as much as the kids have! 😂💚

Her commitment to our players, her willingness to help wherever needed and the positive environment she creates for the kids is exactly what junior football is all about.

A huge congratulations to Bianca Foster , who has been awarded the Football Queensland MiniRoos Coach of the Year!👏⚽️

Bianca was recognised for her outstanding commitment and efforts coaching our U7 team, as well as two U12/13 Girls teams throughout the season.

Bianca is such an important member of the Townsville Warriors Football Club and is someone who is loved and respected by everyone around the club. 💚🤍
