Wow what roller-coaster ride the Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland was. Wheels on Mary was again a hugely successful event although this was where we discovered we had a charging issue. The crew worked late into Friday night and were back at it early Saturday morning to get the problem resolved. So with the car fixed with only 10 minutes to spare and about 4 hours sleep we set off into Saturday's hot and dry stages. We managed to have a clean run which resulted in 5th Outright and 1st in class. Sunday presented us with the challenge of an oil leak which was causing an immense about of smoke to come into the cabin under load, it prevented us from pushing as hard as we would have liked as we had to nurse the car but we finished the day and managed to claim 4th outright for the weekend. Thanks to all the crews who offered their help and to Delta Autosport who saved our weekend by loaning us an alternator when our spare one failed, the Qld Rally family never ceases to amaze us with their kindness and generosity which is just one of the reasons we travel so far and keep coming back. Special thanks to Craig Sault, Bradley Smith and Shaun De Oliver for your amazing effort over the weekend, sorry we made you work so hard. Thanks to the organisers and sponsors for putting on such a brilliant event, we can't wait to come back and do it again next year.

A big thank you to the Gold Coast Tweed Motorsport Club, Glenn Brinkman and all the volunteers who helped organise the Working Dog Rallysprint and the amazing live stream for the event. What a fantastic weekend of rallying it was with the Bonalbo community getting right behind the event and making us feel so welcome. Thanks to Craig Sault and Bradley Smith for servicing and to all the other competitors who made for a great competition as we all pushed hard trying to get the perfect stage. To Jeff and Donna Kilbride we are wishing you a speedy recovery, as many of you know we were first on scene to the Kilbride accident so they are very much in our thoughts and we hope to see them back rallying again soon. We can't wait to come back and do this event again next year!
