The Brody Hoyt Memorial Pig Hunting Competition Committee is excited to announce that Wiradjuri Rabbs Entertainment will be joining us for the weekend’s weigh-in, auction, prize presentations, and entertainment!

Known for bringing plenty of laughs and great community spirit wherever he goes, Rabbs will be helping make this year’s event even bigger and better. Whether you’re competing, bidding in the auction, collecting a prize, or simply coming along to enjoy the atmosphere, you’re guaranteed a good time.

🔴 FIREARM STORAGE REMINDER – BRODY HOYT MEMORIAL HUNTING COMPETITION 🔴

For competitors attending the Brody Hoyt Memorial Hunting Competition and hunting with fi****ms, please remember that it is your personal responsibility to ensure you comply with all NSW firearm storage and transport laws throughout the event.

To assist competitors and help prevent any compliance issues, Garah Police Station has advised they are willing to temporarily hold fi****ms for participants during the event where required.

If you intend on attending social functions, visiting licensed premises, camping locally, or are otherwise unable to securely store your firearm in accordance with NSW legislation, we strongly encourage you to make arrangements ahead of time.

Please remember:
✔️ Fi****ms must be stored and transported in accordance with NSW legislation.
✔️ Fi****ms should not be left unsecured in vehicles.
✔️ Consuming alcohol while responsible for a firearm can lead to serious legal consequences.
✔️ Safe storage is the responsibility of every firearm owner.

Our aim is to ensure everyone enjoys a safe, successful and incident-free weekend while remaining compliant with their legal obligations.

If you require further information regarding temporary firearm storage arrangements, please contact Garah Police Station directly.
