Round 7 Results!
Team 2 kicked off the round against a feisty GNS side. They started the game well with intensity but played 3 quarters with no subs after Steph went to hospital for surgery after a ball to the thumb. Hornsby held their own but unfortunately couldn’t hold them out with all goals scored in the last quarter. 0-3 L
Team 1 were also down a few players with 11 of their own plus super sub Lucy against speedy Raptors. Despite the opposition not having a goalie, our team found with their 11th man on the field they were able to press higher and we were caught on the back foot. Hornsby had some awesome passage of play leading to a goal but a silly mistake left the final score 1-1.
