How often do you fit aerobic exercise into your training program?
How often should you? Well, the more the better.
Why? First and foremost to look after your heart and your cardiovascular system, helps manage blood glucose levels and not a bad way to destress or get good work done at a lower intensity with less demand on recovery.
How long? Depends on the time you have available, but thirty minutes two to three times a week is a great start.
How hard? Hard enough your heart rate is around 120-140 beats per minute but not so hard you couldn’t hold a brief conversation is a good guide.
