This season we brought a few from different teams together for Spring netball. Our team, Midweek Mad Dogs” came second on the ladder (but had the highest % 🙌👊🏻). It was so much fun bringing these ladies together for a short but sweet season.

A huge congratulations to Mods Netball Club who have been playing seniors netball for 60 years (and boy, are they tired!!😝).
Of course, they celebrated with cake, lots of cake!

Flashback Friday – Celebrating 60 Seasons of MODS Magic ✨🏐

As we count down to our 60th Season Celebration tomorrow night, we’re taking a little trip down memory lane to look back at just how much has changed (and how much has stayed the same!) 💛❤️

Back in 1970/71, premiership players were recognised with flowers as a token of appreciation 🌸 Fast forward to 2021 and current times, where winning teams are lucky enough to bring home the trusty maroon MODS towels - a classic show of club pride!

While the gifts and fashion might have changed, one thing that’s never faded is the MODS spirit — the laughs, the friendships, the late-night dance floors, and the unforgettable moments shared at our windups over the decades 🥂

Tomorrow night, we’ll come together to celebrate all of it — 60 seasons of community, connection, and pure MODS fun. Expect dancing, delicious food, drinks, speeches, and plenty of nostalgia as we toast to our incredible club past and present 🎉

Preliminary Finals – Fixtures 🌟
It’s do-or-die time, MODS family! 💛❤️ After some huge clashes last weekend, three of our teams are back and ready to fight for their spot in the Grand Final. Every goal matters, and your sideline energy could make all the difference!

🔥 Must-See Matches – All at 2:50pm:
• Team 1 vs Cockburn – Preliminary Final ⚡ Fresh off a big win, Team 1 face the minor premiers. This will take everything they’ve got — one more push to reach the big dance!
• Team 5 vs Tingara – Preliminary Final 💥 The underdogs turned giant-slayers last week with a massive 12-goal win. Can they bring the fire again and book their Grand Final ticket?
• Team 7 vs Kardinya – Preliminary Final 💪 After a tough loss last week, Team 7 are hungry to bounce back, bring the fury, and earn another crack at Cockburn in the decider!

✅ Team 6 Update: Already locked in their place in the Grand Final after last week’s win — we’ll be cheering them on next week!
