✨ Premier League Milestone ✨

A huge congratulations and thank you to Clayton Wright, who hits the 550 game milestone this weekend as Team Manager for our Men’s Premier 1 team!

Clayton joined the team in 2001 and his commitment has never wavered. He has seen coaches and players come and go but through it all, Clay or Clayboy as he’s known, has remained. He continues to give his time, effort and passion each and every week, and we are incredibly lucky to have him.

This is his 26th season, let that sink in 🤯

“Clayboy is the ever-reliable team man. I’m lucky to have spent so much time with Clay over the years and am so grateful for playing alongside him. Whilst he might be quiet and humble, when Clay speaks, we stop and listen. A big thank you and congratulations on this incredible milestone” - Darryl McCormick.

For his service, Clayton was awarded Life Membership to the Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club at this years AGM, which we also look forward to celebrating post season at the Wind Up.

Congrats Clay, let’s have a win for you this weekend! 🖤🤍

It’s Friday which means hockey is back for the weekend! 💃🕺

Our 11/12s kick off the weekend with home games tonight and then we have a big day of action at Lakelands on Saturday:

1.00pm Women’s Div 5 vs Melville
2.00pm Men’s O50 Div 2 vs Hale (grass)
2.30pm Women’s Div 4 vs Lions (top of the table clash and a W is crucial for our promotion aspirations)
3.30pm Women’s Metros 3 vs Lions (**forfeit win!)
4.00pm Women’s Prem 1 vs Wolves
5.30pm Mens Prem 1 vs Wolves
7.00pm Mens Prem 2 vs Wolves
8.30pm Women’s Div 6 vs Melville

Saturday is going to be lots of fun at Lakelands, with two awesome events happening and LOTS of hockey 🥳🏑

Our sponsors are invited to join us for the afternoon as we say a big thank you for their support for the season and for many, their ongoing support over many years.

Following the Premier 1 men’s game, we have live music in the club rooms, with Tyler Ian performing and the more fun as our Magpies Olympics starts around 9.00pm after the Premier 2 mens finishes up. Come ready for a fun night!
