To Provide the opportunity for members to fish on a regular basis, at a variety of locations, within a competitive and friendly structure.

The Fremantle Amateur Angling Club (FAAC) is a beach, rock and estuary recreational fishing club who provides its members the opportunity to fish on a regular basis at a variety of locations within a competitive and friendly structure. Our Values

An ethical approach in all matters
The club caters for all types of anglers, from novice to the well experienced. It provides mentors for new members and provides clinics to develop skill levels of all participants. The club has a monthly Beach and Rock Field day at locations ranging from Kalbarri in the North to Albany in the South and includes an annual fishing weekend at Rottnest which is a highlight for many members. It also has 6 Estuary Field Days normally held in the Swan River and catering for boat anglers as well as shore based . While the focus is on fishing the club holds a variety of social events through out the year ranging from the casual BBQ, Crabbing Weekend, Ten Pin Bowling, our Christmas party with Santa for the kids and culminating in the Annual Trophy Presentation and Dinner. Some great fish caught this field day. Dave caught a fantastic 17.85kg Mulloway. Rob and Conrad both got 4.15kg Dhues. Good work all

The Annual Trophy Presentation has had a change of date and venue for the 2025/26 event.

Changed from the 4th of October to Saturday 10th October 2026 (Schedule of Club events calendar has been updated). This years event will be held at the new location of the Cockburn Bowling and Recreation Club (Cockburn BARC) located at 40 Birchley Road, Yangebup.

The following prices have been determined:
Adult members - $48.00 per head
Junior members - $24.00 per head
Visitors (non-members) - $55.00 per head

More information and details on how to purchase a seat will follow shortly.

If you are the holder of a Club perpetual trophy, please return these items to one of the Club Executives (Ivan, Trent, Laurie or Geoff) by 10th June 2026 (the date of the June General meeting) so that they may be prepared for the Annual Trophy Presentation in October 2026.
