If you’re new here, hey 👋 I’m Nic!

I’m a nutrition coach and personal trainer, and I work with people online and in person. I absolutely love what I do and if I could run around helping people feel their best, strongest self all day everyday, I absolutely would! But I can’t, and instead choose to work with a handful of people at a time and give them the best support I possibly can.

I’ve helped people lose weight (and keep it off), build muscle, get stronger and fitter, establish habits that actually stick, learn what their body is capable of and believe in themselves a little more along the way.

If any of this is what you’re looking for, reach out anytime. My DM’s are always open 💛

Ivana and Jess have been training with me for 6 months now, alongside receiving nutrition support. Juggling busy lives with young kids, and still showing up to strength train 3 times a week (often at 4:30 am!!! 😲)

This is what they shared with me recently:
“6 months working with Nic has been a game changer for us both. Workouts have kept us strong enough to keep up with our little boys, offered heaps of variety and zero brain power is needed thanks to the training app. Our workouts have been one less thing to think about, and we’re loving getting fitter and stronger every week.”

This honestly sums up everything I try to build with my coaching:
training that fits into real life, removes mental load, and helps you feel strong outside the gym, not just in it.

So proud of these two and so excited to see them continue to build strength and confidence 🥹

Chris didn’t come to me for a perfect plan. He came for clarity. No rigid rules. No cutting out foods he loved.

Through our journey working together, I was able to offer him support, education, and skills that actually fit around work, family, and training. Coaching that could be used day to day.

That’s what Lift with Nic is about. If you want nutrition coaching that fits your life, my DMs are open.

BIG WEEKEND 💥
Hands down, the BEST weekend!

🌳 Saturday – 21km in the beautiful (and very muddy) Dwellingup Forest. First trail race for us, and such a fun adventure to share with Adam on his first half mara.

🏋🏻‍♀️ Sunday – Annual pairs inter-gym comp at . Nothing better than throwing down with such an incredible community of strong, supportive, and fun humans I get to call my friends!

Grateful for weekends that remind me just how special this all this 💛

Progress never looks like the perfectly smooth graph we wish it did.

This is 10 weeks of my own weigh-ins. Some ups, some downs, a few random spikes. And yet, the trend is still moving the way I want. The best part? I didn’t get here by cutting out foods I love or saying no to social outings. I still enjoyed dinners out, meals with friends, and dessert.

If you’ve ever felt discouraged by daily fluctuations, this is your reminder:
👉 The wobbles are normal.
👉 Consistency matters more than perfection.
👉 Zoom out. The trend tells the real story.

I turned 33 last week 🥳 And it had me reflecting on the things that have had the biggest impact on my health so far…

CrossFit has given me strength and community.
Learning about nutrition has given me freedom and confidence (and the ability to help others).
Trying new ways to move has kept me curious and resilient.
Reading continues to help me grow and shift my way of thinking.
Practicing gratitude helps me notice more of the good.

None of it happened overnight. But the small, consistent things I’ve stuck with? They’ve added up to something pretty amazing.

Here’s to another year of moving well, fuelling well, and living well ✨

When you take a second to think about it, what’s had the biggest impact on your health journey so far?

5 things about my nutrition that might surprise you 👀

It’s not perfect. I don’t have it all figured out. And I’m constantly learning new things. But where I’m at works for me, and it’s taken years of experimenting, unlearning food rules, and building habits that actually feel good.

I keep chocolate in the house
I don’t meal prep in the traditional way
I eat processed foods daily
I don’t cut out food groups
I treat my nutrition like an ongoing experiment

If you’re stuck in the cycle of “starting over” or thinking you have to eat perfectly to see progress, this is your reminder that your diet doesn’t have to be rigid.

Ok Perth winters ain’t so bad… But as someone who feels like they come to life in summer, I’ve been trying to embrace and appreciate the winter season more. Here are a few things that are bringing me joy when it comes to movement and nutrition on chillier days:

💛 Going outside as often as possible and walking. Feeling the cold air and getting some sunshine on my skin.
💛 Hot teas in all varieties. Chai (my fave), spearmint, peppermint, English breakfast or a nighttime blend. So cosy and comforting.
💛 Warm breakfasts. Need I say more?
💛 How good are mandarins and other citrus fruits? Packed full of fibre and vitamins, nature’s lil immunity boosters.
💛 Movement can be tough in winter, so keeping it social makes it a lot more rewarding. Enjoying CrossFit group classes, runs with friends and swimming with my Masters club.

I’d love to hear what your winter glimmers have been lately! ✨

Ever feel like you know what to do with your nutrition, but actually doing it consistently is the hard part?

Being your own nutrition coach sounds empowering. And it can be!
✨ Setting goals
✨ Planning meals
✨ Tracking habits
✨ Checking in with yourself

These are all skills I use myself (even as a coach). But honestly? Even coaches need structure. Reflection. A plan. Data. Because motivation alone isn’t reliable.

This is what I do with my own nutrition when I’m working towards a goal, and how I help my clients every day.

If you need help getting started send me a message and we can find what works for you together 💛
