Feral Flyers World Famous Feral Flyers are the Top End's rural Australian Football League Masters superstars! Masters AFL is AFL footy for fun for over 35s.

Formerly known as 'Superules', Masters AFL is played across Australia and culminates each year in a national carnival played by State/Territory representative teams in various 5 year age grades (35s-40s, 40s-45s etc). The Ferals draw players from the southern Darwin area including Humpty Doo, Palmerston and rural surrounds. Based at Norbuilt Oval, Fred's Pass (home of the mighty Southern Districts

AFLNT Crocs) we train on Wednesday evenings and play against the Darwin 'Townies' every second week during the Dry season.

CALLING MASTERS FOOTBALLERS FROM ACROSS THE NT

Now is the time to get registered for the AFL Masters National Carnival which will be held in Darwin from 28 September through to Saturday 4 October 2025.

If you can manage it, playing in a home national carnival is something you do not want to miss out on.

Team nominations are closing soon so we need to know our numbers.

Carnival Rego cost is $360.00 which will include a full playing kit plus some extra goodies and entry to the end of Carnival Gala Event.

Another week another game of AFL Masters.

Tonight's match (3 July) is the 45-55 age group kicking off at 7.30pm at TIO 2.

AFL Masters NT fixture for the remainder of the season.

Some highlights to look forward to:

The Ferals hosting at Norbuilt Oval on Wednesday 9 July - Followed by the NRL State of Origin and additional entertainment. Cash only bar and catering available.

Two beach games out the front of Casarina Surf Lifesaving Club. Always a fun game of footy followed by an amazing sunset and BBQ.

First game for the financial year is for 45 -55 men at TIO 2 on Thursday 3 July starting at 7.30pm.

A reminder age and gender are a guide only, if you are registered you are welcome to play in any match you feel comfortable to play.

Women's only training commences at Wagaman Oval on Wednesday nights from 5.30pm starting 16 July onwards. If you are, or know a lady 35 or over who is curious to have a go, feel free to attend.

The countdown to the national carnival is well and truly on. Only 3 months to go.

If you need to organise leave the match days will be Sunday 28th September, Wednesday 1 October, Friday 3 October and Saturday 4 October.

Get involved, it's not that often you have the opportunity to play state footy in your home town.
