Well… it’s been a while since we’ve hit a Grand Final Thursday and haven’t had a clue what to do with ourselves… Coey’s not happy 🫣😂

So what better way to ease ourselves into the off-season than one last Thursday night at the club. 😼

Whether you’re an experienced coach, looking to take the next step, or already coaching within the club, we’d love to hear from you.

Tonight, I’m really proud to announce our Junior Club Person of the Year for 2026 — Matt Walton.

A lot of what Matt does probably goes unnoticed by most people, because so much of his work happens behind the scenes. But I can tell you, the amount of time and effort he puts into this club is enormous.

From making sure our teams are organised and everything is in order each week, to taking on a massive role in running the finals series here at Jubilee Park, Matt is always there getting things done.

On a personal level, Matt has also been a huge help and support to me throughout my first year as President. He’s someone I can rely on, bounce things off and know that when something needs doing, he’ll be there.

Matt, your contribution to this club has been incredible, and this award is thoroughly deserved.

📣 STONECATS PRESENTATION DAY | SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 🖤💛🐾

Here it is, StoneCats — our 2026 Presentation Day Run Sheet!

Please make sure you read all of the information on the flyer carefully and take particular note of your team’s presentation start time.

🏆 PRESENTATION DAY

Each team has a 20-minute presentation at John Coburn Oval, followed by 20 minutes from the end of your presentation to make your way to General Public Karingal.

Your team’s allocated General Public table booking is recorded on the flyer, so please use this as your guide for the day.

🍔 AT GENERAL PUBLIC KARINGAL

Teams will rotate through the same reserved area throughout the day. General Public will turn over the team table signs for each new rotation accordingly, so we ask everyone to be mindful of their allocated booking and allow the next team to move into the space.

The Club will provide a light selection of shared food for each team to enjoy on arrival at General Public. Once the Club-provided offering has been enjoyed, families are more than welcome to order additional food and drinks directly from the venue at their own cost and discretion.

⚠️ DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
If your child or family has any specific dietary requirements, these will need to be raised directly with General Public Karingal prior to the day, so the venue can advise on suitable options and requirements.

🕹️ Each registered player will also receive a 15-minute pre-paid arcade gaming card, which can be used on the green machines. Once exhausted, families can top these up at their own discretion.

🎳 Families are welcome to continue enjoying General Public after their team table allocation. If you would like to retain a seated area for longer or book bowling or other activities, these arrangements will need to be made directly with General Public and will be subject to venue availability.

What a hard-fought battle between YCW and Bonbeach in the U13 Grand Final! Both teams gave it absolutely everything, with Bonbeach coming away with a well-earned 10-point win. 🏆

This is what team sport is all about, the teamwork, determination, friendships and unforgettable moments shared along the way. An incredible effort from every player out there! 👏🏉
