🏉 FIXTURES | THIS WEEKEND AT THE NEST 🏉

A huge weekend of footy awaits at Bruce Park, with all roads leading to The Nest!

Friday night kicks things off under lights as our U16s take centre stage in the opening game of a Friday night double-header, before Heatherhill’s senior side takes the field later in the evening. We’d love to see plenty of Rovers supporters down there to get behind our boys and help create a great atmosphere under the lights.

Then on Sunday, it’s a full day of football with all Rovers teams in action at home! 🙌🏉

With perfect footy weather forecast, grab a hot drink, some delicious food from the canteen, and settle in for a fantastic day supporting our players.

When asked why he’s passionate about Rovers, Aaron’s answer was simple:

“Rovers is more than just a junior footy club. It’s a place where people come together, support each other, build lifelong friendships and find a sense of belonging.

To me, Rovers means family, community and connection. Whether you’re playing, volunteering, supporting from the sidelines or sharing a meal together, it’s a place where memories are made and friendships are formed.

Being part of something bigger than yourself is what makes Rovers such a special place.”

What a night at The Nest! 🤎💛

A big thank you to Jack Macrae, Darcy Wilson and Ryan Byrnes from St Kilda Football Club for spending time with our non competitive teams last night.

The weather may have kept us indoors, but the trivia, stories and Q&A session made for a memorable evening, with our young Rovers walking away inspired by three fantastic role models.

Sometimes the most important team moments happen away from the oval.

Last night, our U12 Girls traded boots for a fun night out together at Saxon Sports Frankston. There were plenty of laughs, friendly competition and memories made, with the girls enjoying some time together away from training, game day and the pressures of the season.

Footy is about more than marks, kicks and goals. It’s about friendships, belonging, confidence and being part of something bigger than yourself. Nights like these help build the connections that make being a Rovers player so special.

All teams are on the road this weekend as we take on another big round of footy across the league. Our U12 Girls have a bye this week, while the rest of our teams head away proudly representing the Rovers.
Good luck to all players, coaches, team managers, volunteers and families travelling this weekend, we can’t wait to see the brown and gold everywhere.
