New Wave Swim School We are a boutique Learn to Swim School in Frankston South New Wave Swim School specialises in teaching swimming to toddlers through to squad.

If it's your first time in the water or you need that extra few seconds to outperform your competition, we have the answers. Programs are available for babies, pre schoolers, adults, triathletes and squad level training. All our friendly staff are fully trained Austswim Level 1 Certified Coaches. Our staff have Working With Children Certificates and are First Aid trained every 12 months. We pride ourselves on a friendly and professional atmosphere built on a reputation which is second to none. Our crystal clear pool gives every child the opportunity to learn swimming in a safe, calm and relaxing environment. New Wave Swim School is a purpose built boutique facility which has been operating for over 20 years. In the last 20 years fantastic relationships with students, teachers and parents have been formed - these relationships have helped build a brilliant culture that thrives today. In January 2016 3 time Olympic Medallist in Swimming Andrew Lauterstein purchased New Wave Swim School and continues to maintain the core principles of safety, family and fun. Main Reasons to select New Wave Swim School:
•Small Classes - Pre-Schoolers a maximum of 4 to 1 child to teacher ratio. School age children a maximum of 5 to 1 child to teacher ratio. Excellent child to teacher ratios allow all our students to develop strong relationships with their teachers and to receive personalised attention
•Experienced Teachers - highly skilled and qualified swimming teachers, whose energetic and passionate approach enables each child to obtain outstanding results
•Water Quality - 32 degrees, crystal clear, back-washed twice a day and tested 4 times a day. A refreshing, healthy and hygienic swim environment
•Owned and operated by Olympic medallist Andrew Lauterstein - a local who loves and understands swimming

We are excited to announce the joining of two long-standing swim schools; New Wave Swim School & Kiddieswim!

As of the 1st July Kiddieswim have taken over ownership of New Wave Swim School.

We recognise the dedication and commitment the Lauterstein family has shown to the families at New Wave, and are excited to continue their legacy. We wish Anne and George all the best in their retirement.

We will provide further updates in the coming week and have attached a newsletter to this post to answer some of the questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing everyone back for Term 3 on July 13th.

Due to overwhelming demand, our weekday afternoon and Saturday classes are fully booked.

Congratulations to all our New Wave swimmers who have performed so well at their school swimming carnivals over the past few weeks.

It is so great to hear all the fun the children have had showing their swimming skills to family and friends.

Best of luck to all swimmers representing their school at the district level, and also to those who go on again to represent the district at the next stage at zones.
