SHOUT OUT

Our CEO, Amenities (aka Cath’s Dad, Glenn) has had to retire from his strongly held position this year due to an ongoing hip injury.

We are putting out a call for anyone who is coming to the ride that maybe able to give us an hour in the morning & afternoon on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday (or all 3 days would be amazing!!) to help us maintain the loos & showers. Fortunately, the endurance “family” are a good lot & make the job easy.

We will supply all the “necessaries”, and happy to contribute to fuel money for anyone offering to help.

Cath & I would be eternally grateful & your efforts will not go unrecognised.

Congratulations to all who travelled successful around the 2026 Tom Quilty Gold Cup course, and special congrats to Amy Everett and Box Hill Nifty. It was a great ride with a very exciting finish.

The Matar Bullio Cup is gearing up, but we’re advising a change to the AERA Elevator event. It will now be a 110km to 140km to 160km Elevator to fit in with the logistics of the 160km event. Unfortunately, novice riders or horses cannot enter an event that is greater than 120km (AERA Rule 29.1).

HOWEVER, all novice riders and horses can enter the standalone AERA 80km ride and of course, the 20km and 40km rides for those riders or horses starting their endurance journey or those wanting a weekend away and to join in the fun of Matar Bullio Cup weekend.

The Schedule will be –
AERA Elevator 110-140-160km ride (Endurance horse/riders only)
AERA 80km Standalone
AERA 40km Intermediate
AERA 20km Introductory
CEI 3* Youth/Open 160km
CEN 2* Youth/Open 120km
CEI 1* Youth Open 100km
