Everything is handcrafted, right down to the sewing of stitches and the dying of the leather. Sincerest of apologies for being radio silent most of this year.

Unfortunately, my health took a radical right turn at Timbuktu which saw my nervous system go haywire causing muscle atrophy, large reduction in motor skills to my arms and legs amongst other symptoms.

This in turn saw several admissions to hospital for multiple nerve blocks down my neck and spine and pain management infusions in order to stop my body from shutting down.

Still have a long road ahead of me regarding treatments and extensive physical rehabilitation but will be busting what’s left of my little butt muscles in order to get mobile again for the family but also back into crafting for all our loyal followers.

Thank you for patiently standing by us as we work through this.

Final version of the Little Nipper Caddy finished off.

Made from beautiful Italian Pueblo Veg Tanned leather from the renowned Badalassi Tannery.

Hand stitched using our trusty 0.4mm thread and able to hold a AAA torch, mini pen and pocket knife up to 35mm width, perfect for a mixed range of Swiss Army and similar styled knives.

Fresh off the bench.

Introducing the “Jonesy Field Admin Wallet”, again named after 1 of our longest supporters, Mark Jones.

Made from the ever trusty Crazy Horse leather in Teal Green, hand stitched with quality 0.4mm thread & utilising a roo leather inner panel.

This admin wallet has an initial capacity of holding 4 x Passports or A6 Notepads (or combination there of), 4 x inner card sleeves capable of holding at least 3 cards each.

The wallet inner allows room for cash or 2 of the spare notepads whilst on the rear panel, a secure zippered pouch for coins etc combining it as a seperate external pocket.

Latest Everyday Carry Bundle which includes 1 of our Peanut Minimalist wallet in Teal Green Crazy Horse leather which has been given an initial buffing to bring the beautiful colours to light which Crazy Horse Leather is renowned for and only gets better with age.

This wallet has a “raw” or natural finished edge meaning it hasn’t been burnished to allow it to create it owns persona.

Also included is a matching A6 Notepad / Passport Cover with removable inner jotter notepad holder made from Crazy Horse Kangaroo hide, space for multiple A6 Notepads, Passports etc, 4 cards slots which hold multiple cards each, snap closure and a rear zippered pouch for coins etc along with a quick stash pocket between the rear panel and the zippered section itself.

The folio has a semi burnished / rustic edge to speed up the patina process.

All hand stitched using quality 0.4mm thread.

Also includes the matching notepads, mini EDC twist top pen compatible with Parker ink refills along with 2 black and 1 blue refill to get you started.

It’s with great pleasure to announce our latest offering.

1 of 2 new Fieldnote Folios.

Every now and then, we like to bounce ideas off some of our customers and followers.

This instance is no exception and is 1 of our ways to give back and thank our customers.

1 such follower is Allan Cook who helped in listing features for the new folio.

INTRODUCING the Cook PTD Folio (Patch of the Day).

Depending on how you set this up, it can hold 2-3 Fieldnote pads, cards, zippered pocket / coin pouch, 39mm challenge coin slot and reinforced Velcro patch holder.

Optional extra is the elastic pen slip which also aids in keeping the folio closed and will hold up to 2 pens depending on thickness.

All hand stitched using 0.4mm waxed thread, trusty Crazy Horse hide supplied by Mac-Lace Leather.

Benefits of using quality leather like Crazy Horse for its durability and the patina it creates over the years.

Like all leather products, they should be maintained regularly to remain serviceable for years to come.

Besides general wear and tear, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t last and past on to younger generations.

Both of these pouches are roughly 3 years old, made from the same piece of dark tan Crazy Horse supplied by .

1st pouch stocks my bits for my Wave+ including adapters and sharpener.

This pouch has not been maintained at all and still in the original finish from the Tannery.

2nd is the Wave+ pancake sheath and i3T-EOS Triple A from , the sheath gets an oil and buff once a month.

Not a massive amount of difference besides the shine between the 2 with minimal effort and time needed to keep them in top shape for years to come.

I inherited bundle mixed hides several years ago in different weights and tanning methods.

Here is 1 of the first hides that will be used in a “sprint run” meaning that once the items made are sold in a particular colour and hide, that colour will be discontinued and replaced with another.

This purple hide is a chrome tan from memory with a medium temper and reminiscent of the old Ghost Who Walks and pops under the light.
