❤️🤍💙 LIFE MEMBERSHIP HONOURS ❤️🤍💙Congratulations to our newest Life Members, Helen Stanton and Melissa Hall.

Last night at our Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation, we proudly recognised both Helen and Melissa for their outstanding dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution to Forrest Beach Surf Life Saving Club through the awarding of Life Membership.

Helen has been a member of our club for 12 years and joined when her two daughters became nippers. Over the years, Helen has become one of the club’s biggest advocates. She is an active patrolling member and has generously dedicated countless hours across many roles including Director of Surf Sports, Chief Training Officer, Junior Activities Chair, Grants Officer and Secretary. Her passion, leadership and tireless commitment have had a lasting impact on our club and its members.

Helen’s commitment to the club has also been strongly supported by her husband Luke, who also is a valued active patrolling member of our club. Together, they have contributed enormously to the club both on and off the beach, always willing to step in wherever needed and support the continued growth of our surf lifesaving community.

Melissa’s connection with Forrest Beach began through her parents, Lenny and Pam Chiesa, who are both Life Members of the club. She was one of five children who all began their journey in nippers, continuing a strong and proud family involvement in the club. Melissa went on to proudly represent Forrest Beach at Branch, State and National level competition and was crowned the 2005 Queensland Summer Surf Girl winner - a fantastic achievement for both Melissa and the club, which saw her serve as an ambassador for Surf Life Saving Queensland.

In a unique milestone for the club, Melissa and her parents, Lenny and Pam, have created history as the first family to achieve Life Membership across two generations, reflecting their extraordinary and lasting contribution to our club. Today, Melissa remains actively involved as a patrolling member, with her five children also in the club. She serves as Junior Activities Chair and Publicity Officer, playing a major role in the growth and success of our junior program and club community.

Both Helen and Melissa have been instrumental in the growth, strength and future of Forrest Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Their passion, dedication and service over many years are deeply appreciated by all members.

Helen and Melissa were presented with their Life Membership awards by Life Member Billy Johnson and Club President Scott Gibson.

Congratulations and thank you, Helen and Melissa, on this well-deserved honour. 🙏
