If you have kids attending camp at Camp Coolamatong and Lakewood Park Camp, then they would have been enjoying our Gala apples. Almost every week, these camps order apples straight from our farm for their camps and we always get very good feedback. We also supply directly some schools and daycares with these beautiful Gala apples and we often get parents asking us which apples we send to their kid’s school/daycare as they are the only ones their kids would eat!

Now that we are out of Picnics, we encourage you to try our Galas; it’s crunchy, sweet and an overall easy eating apple. It’s also the perfect size to put in lunchboxes. We can assure you that our galas aren’t like the galas you get from the supermarkets! 🍎

What a priveladge to work with Martin from Greening Australia, searching out ways to enrich the natural habitat for frogs in our fresh water dams.

His assistance with the delivery of new rocks for basking in the sun and the enlargement of one of the key dams to provide more water for the seems to have paid off.

Frog have been set up to record residents at the pond. Soon we will be able to identify who stays where and share the information with our valued visitors.

Removing some blackberries, planting some trees and grasses and shrubs. Learning about their environments and how to best take care of our little piece of heaven here in with Halls Outdoor Education.

A big thank you to East Gippsland Landcare Network who assisted in providing some native spiecies to be introduced in our gullies as part of the “Lungs of the Lakes” initiative.

We look forward to seeing more natural habitat for the wildlife in the coming years.

What a wonderful morning to spend with Deb from BirdLife Australia doing site familiarization and setting up survey points. Looking forward to learning more about what birds we are fortunate to have here at

We hope to see a increase of life after planting almost 3000 native trees as part of the “Lungs of the Lakes” project coordinated by Matt from East Gippsland Landcare Network
