We play Badminton every Wed and Sat except the ones where the Hall has been booked out for FHS function.
We play at Forbes High School starting 6.30PM.

The current season is May to 24 Dec 2026. We reopened on 9 May 2026 after a break during which the court floor was being repaired.

Badminton Fees May to Dec 2026 extended season (normal season is 6 months).
A) $120 for full access, playing both Wed and Sat. Note there are some days we cannot play due to FHS’s own functions.
B) $90 for full season but one day per week on average.
C) Anyone playing part season May to Dec 2026 can pay “prorata”. This would apply to those who know when they are leaving town. Talk to me at the courts and we can work out how much to pay.
D) Casual per day rate will be $8 per day/session. For those who do not pay season rates, these rates will apply from Wednesday 27th May 2026. (We generally allow 4 days Free of charge for trials). This amount must be paid before start of playing. A cash box will be on site. Please enter your name in the register and insert cash into the box.
E) Students get a 50% discount on any of the above.

Message from our venue, FHS (Forbes High School)

"It (repair to the Badminton Courts) is getting very close now. Contractors have finished their part however we are now waiting for school assets department to sign off on the work completed and fix a couple of issues discovered with the power so that we can have it cleaned ready for use....">

The pause in Badminton played at Forbes High School (FHS) courts is continuing. Till repairs at the courts are completed we cannot re-commence Badminton.

We have tentative date of 18th April, restart. This has to be reconfirmed. Once the court maintenance is completed and we are given permission to play from FHS, Badminton will recommence.
