Parkside Spurs Spurs of the Mighty West! Playing aussie rules footy in the WRFL Senior Womens & AFL Masters comps 💙

The Western Spurs are a Women's Aussie Rules Football Team from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. We currently field a senior women's team (ages 16+) in the NFNL and have an AFL Masters Team for women over the age of 35. If you have ever considered playing women's football, come and pull on the Spurs blue and join a family-orientated club with a fantastic medical and coaching staff on board!

Exciting times as we prepare for the next chapter.

Our Senior Women are undefeated heading into finals, and in 2027 we make the move into the EDFL. New league, same group, plenty still to build.

We're recruiting now for next season. If you've played before, if you've had a few years off, or if you've never pulled on boots and want to give it a crack, we want to hear from you.

We've built a great culture focused on connection and improvement, a coaching group that invests in your development, and an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.
