Stephen is a legendary member of the Tribe. He has been coming to this gym even before it became Jungle.
Highly ranked professional and respected leader in the economics and finance industry, he loves skiing âˇď¸, going to the movies đż, watching sports đ and making great holiday trips âď¸ with his wife and kids.
As many top executives in his field, work demanded much from him - long hours in the office, business travels, endless meetings, stressful situations, high pressure, decision making and everything a leadership role requires.
On top of that, being a present father, husband, attending family events and caring for everyone around him. Ageing parents, siblings, relatives, etc.
Even though Stephen wasnât training consistently, and it was difficult to keep the routine at times, he always made the effort to show up, train and follow the plan.
That was reflected in his yearly Executive Check Ups, where the medical tests would show that Stephenâs health was in the top 5% of Australian Executives.
When he was young, Stephen was playing in local Rugby teams and he was a referee for 15 years. He was an active guy.
During the years while his children were growing up, work took over and training wasnât the priority - for years. Like many of his mates at work⌠âNo time.â âI got bills to pay.â
This approach takes a toll in their lives - at home with their families and being present and also at work, focus and productivity.
Stephen shows that no matter how busy life gets, strength training and movement are the key to energy and vitality to do the things you love all your life and also responsible to unlock high levels of productivity, building a resilient mindset to handle all the pressure and a capable body thatâs ready for any adventure.
His children are all grown up now, and he is working less - which frees more time for Stephen to dedicate to the gym, travel and lots of skiing.
Stephenâs main goal is to ski with his family until he is 80 years old. We look forward to all the amazing things he will achieve on his journey.
Stephen, Thank you for being an inspiration to the Tribe.
