We've reached the halfway mark now for the Autumn 2026 MMP season. Let have a look to see where our teams stand so far after 7 rounds.

Melbourne University have 1 & 2 held onto with a firm grip, while the two WSRC teams and M.C.C. are all equal on 12 points each.
New team V.R.C. is putting up a fight while the boys from Focus/Epping look to secure their third win of the season. Rounding out the grade is Monash Uni who, although, haven't won a fixture as yet, they are not giving up.

Next week there is a BYE for all teams.

🎉 A huge congratulations to our very own Michelle Rowles, who was awarded Volunteer of the Year at the 2026 Squash Australia Awards.

Michelle is a long-serving member, player, and the backbone of our club as MCC Squash's Section Secretary - and this recognition is so well deserved. She recently volunteered at the 2026 Squash Australian Open in Brisbane, adding yet another chapter to her ongoing contribution to our sport.

Thank you Michelle for everything you do for MCC Squash and for squash in Australia 👏

What a weekend in Brisbane! 🎉

Last weekend, 12 of our MCC Squash members made the trip up to Brisbane for the 2026 Squash Australian Open, which did not disappoint.

Nine of our squad competed across the Graded Events, representing MCC in Men's A, C and D Grade and Women's Premier Grade. Matches were played across two great venues - Sandgate Squash Centre and the stunning glass court at South Bank Piazza.

Special congratulations to Daniel Langton (Men’s C Grade Winner), Cameron McLachlan (Men’s C Grade Runner-Up) and Mitchell Clarke (Men’s D Grade Runner-Up).

Our crew also got to watch the world's best players battle it out in the PSA Men's and Women's Semi Finals on Saturday night. What an atmosphere on that glass court!

Massive congratulations to everyone who competed and represented our club brilliantly, and special thanks goes to Tracey Taylor, Scott Matterson, Stephen Blamey and Darcy Carew for their tireless efforts in organising a memorable and successful trip for all. We're already looking forward to the next one!

What a day! Some highlights from our inaugural MCC End of Year Squash Tournament - we had 32 players turn up for a fun afternoon of team-based games followed by social drinks and nibbles afterwards to round out the year together.

Congratulations to the winning team the Reindeer Renegades (Daniel Wright, Amelia Pittock, Adhiraaj Singh and Jackson Gayda) who knocked it out of the park by winning 78% of games played! 💥

Congratulations also to Kevin Parker for winning Best Dressed and Chris Barned for winning Best Tournament Spirit awards 🪅

That rounds out the year for MCC Squash - see you all next year in our upcoming MCC Squash Section Championships in January!
