We’re incredibly proud to support local athlete Levi Jakeman on his high jump journey!

At just 13, Levi is already an Australian High Jump Champion and has been invited to compete internationally in Canada, an amazing opportunity and a testament to his dedication and hard work.

Finley Community Gym is thrilled to contribute to his journey with sponsorship and a 12-month membership to support his training.

We can’t wait to follow along as Levi takes on the world 🌍

Gym is now open for business! Access to all areas will still be a little restricted over the next few days but for now the major work is done and we are all clean and put back together thanks to our hard working committee 👏👏👏

G’day members 👋
Just a quick community service announcement with the hot weather approaching. Please take extra care while training over the next few days. Make sure you’re staying well hydrated and, where possible, try to work out during the cooler parts of the day.

If you use any fans or cooling units, please remember to turn them off before you leave. And as always, keep an eye out for your fellow gym users — a friendly reminder to hydrate and stay cool can go a long way.

G’day all, hope your holiday season went well, just a little housekeeping from the committee 👍👍 you may have noticed that we have placed the recycle bin inside. This is only for recycling of your drink containers etc. Please place all your foods scraps and general rubbish in the other bin that is still provided. This will help us from having rubbish spill out of the general bin that can be placed in recycling. Also if anyone is liking to work out in the front room please make sure you turn the air-conditioner off after you have left the room thank you very much. The committee.

As we head into the Christmas and summer holiday period, please note there will be changes to our staffed hours between 22 December 2025 – 2 February 2026.

Finley Community Gym is proudly volunteer-run, and during this time our availability may be reduced or variable as our we juggle family time, holidays, Christmas commitments and a well-earned break.

🔹 The gym will remain open 24/7 for members
🔹 Staffed hours may vary during this period
🔹 Response times to messages and enquiries may be slower than usual

All new memberships, renewals, cancellations and casual visit passes can be managed online via our website. This is the quickest and easiest way to access the gym during the holiday period.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding and ongoing support!
