A small but talented field fought it out for the 🐓 today. The winner was:
1st: J Kremmer 33.5
2nd: A Stone 34cb
3rd: DBLowe 34
Although most played well, accuracy was poor, the club won both NTP

With bitter Sutherly Antarctic winds stirring through our course only the brave contested our two person Ambrose in Saturday’s event, at the marvelous Malahide Golf course!
With handicap hidden from the contestants, it was anyone’s guess as to who was leading at any stage through the game.
With Klaus holding his good form and solid, putting Combined with some handy approach shots from him and Randall, they were always going to be hard to beat!
The final results were;
Klaus Kobylinski and Randall Wadley 59.
David B Lowe and Lisa Wadley 60.5
Ashley Stone and John Vincent 61.5

Twenty three participants hotly contesting for Malahide’s purpose bread chickens 🐓 including some very welcome visitors who played to our conditions really well, and our course as always, offering up unique challenges for one and all!
Some very good scores were posted by our visitors, notably;
M. Colgrave 40 S. Unsworth 42,
L. Jameson & D. Grey 43 I’m told everyone enjoyed their day and we look forward to seeing them again soon!

It’s the 4th of July and I was told to expect 40mm of rain 🌧️, however the day was bright and sunny with a slight breeze cold from the beautiful covering of snow ⛄️ on Benlomand!
There was a good number of people braving the winter weather for our Monthly Medal sponsored by Drummond Golf Launceston.
The results; an excellent win in tough conditions by our legend David B Lowe95/80 on a count back to Randall Wadley 92/80, with third place going to John Vincent 101/83.

Amazing day and evening at our Magnificent Malahide Golf Club ⛳️
Firstly congratulations to Peter Dunn the winner of our hotly contested chicken 🐓 run with 14 people after the prize! Second prize went to John Vincent, and third place was Klaus Kobylinski, for the rest of us there is always next week 😃
Secondly congratulations and many thanks to all our volunteers who contributed to making our Winter Bonfire Feast a brilliant success with people traveling from far and wide to enjoy this treasured experience, we look forward to hosting this event next year along with your company!

Last but not least congratulations to Ashley Stone on reaching the milestone of 80 years although you would never know it, from the huge amount of time and effort he puts into volunteering to and around our wonderful Malahide Golf Club ⛳️ it was truly a pleasure to celebrate with him and his family 😊
