Last week, our team proudly hosted a Biggest Afternoon Tea in support of Cancer Council Australia.

We were incredibly lucky to hear the powerful and inspiring story of our local guest speaker, Belinda — a breast cancer survivor and palliative care nurse at Tomaree Hospital — whose strength, resilience and kindness touched everyone in the room.

It was a day filled with smiles, generosity, community and meaningful conversations, and thanks to the amazing support of our community, we raised an incredible $1,300 that will be donated directly to Cancer Council Australia to support cancer research, prevention and support services.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated and helped make a difference 💛

**National Reconciliation Week – 27 May–3 June 2026**

A time to reflect on our shared histories, cultures and achievements, while continuing to learn, listen and take action towards a more united future.

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, is a reminder that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility — and that meaningful change happens when we all step forward together.

We’re proud to show our support by adapting and displaying the official 2026 artwork by renowned Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung artist Otis Hope Carey across Societie Group, respectfully incorporating our branding while honouring the meaning and spirit of the original piece.

Today, Thursday 22 January, we observe a National Day of Mourning for the victims of the Bondi Beach terror attack.
Our flag is lowered to half-mast as we stand together in remembrance of the lives lost, and in solidarity with their families, loved ones, and the wider Bondi community.

“Light will win – a gathering of unity and remembrance.”
