So, what's new for us at Equine Resolutions ??

Welcome to 2020. Wow what a year 2019 was, it feels like it just flew by in the blink of an eye. So many things happened, but I guess the most outstanding for us at Equine Resolutions is that we had to face facts & GET REAL !!

In these extremely difficult times, with increasing feed costs and no water means that owning a horse has essentially tripled. Our creek and dam have completely dried up and have been so for at least six months, which means that we are transporting water in. Horse feed has gone through the roof and is becoming very difficult to source.

Towards the end of 2019 I had essentially halved my herd for the grand sum of $0.00.

Finding a loving home for my horses was paramount and in this climate no-one can afford another horse, so I chose to give my horses away for free...... These horses in a "normal" market would total $15,000 - $20,000.

This is not intended to be a "poor me" saga, but rather a reflection of an average horse person trying to balance her love for the horse, love for helping others and actually enjoy her herd without excessive stresses.

I am looking forward to this year, rolling out some new equine therapy programs, but especially I am looking forward to getting my butt in the saddle and enjoying spending time with my lovely four legged friends.

Equine Resolutions, which is the mental health side of Nag Nanny has been supporting people from "all walks of life" with Equine Assisted Learning (EAL).

We are an approved NDIS Provider, located in the Gold Coast Hinterland, 25 minutes from Nerang, South East Queensland.

Over the July school holidays we will be inviting individuals and support teams to visit our farm, meet the horses and learn a little about equine assisted learning.
