Get ready to bounce, throw, kick, and tumble! This week we’re celebrating all things ball sports with our Finals Fever theme!

Whether your mini-champ loves footy, basketball or soccer we’ve got an action-packed set up to test their skills and help them build confidence, balance, and coordination.

📚✨IT’S BOOK WEEK AT KINDERGYM! STORYTIME MEETS GYMNASTICS! 🤸‍♂️📖

Once upon a time... your little gymnast had an absolute blast tumbling through their favorite stories! This week at Kindergym, we’re celebrating Book Week, and we’re bringing imagination to life on the mats.

Grab your favorite costumes from home because dress-ups are HIGHLY encouraged! Whether your little one is a brave superhero, a magical fairy, a hungry caterpillar, or a mischievous monkey, we can't wait to see them in action. 🧙‍♀️🦁 Superhero, knight, or bear, who will they be this week?

Make sure costumes are comfortable and easy to move, jump, and roll around in.

🌈 SHAPE OF THE WEEK: RAINBOW BACKS! 🌈

It’s RAINBOW WEEK at KinderGym! 🌈✨

This week we’re exploring Rainbow Backs - using our bodies to create curved shapes, just like a rainbow!

We’ll practise our two rainbow shapes:
😾 Angry Cat: curving our back up towards the sky 🌈
😸 Happy Cat: curving our back down towards the floor 🌈

Both shapes help our little gymnasts develop body awareness, spinal mobility, coordination and strength while having lots of fun!

✨🌈 Our New KinderGym Theme: Rainbows! 🌈✨

For the next two weeks, our KinderGym classes are stepping into a colourful rainbow adventure! 🌈

Our gymnasts will balance across rainbow bridges, crawl through colourful tunnels, jump into rainbow puddles and collect all the colours of the rainbow. Along the way they'll build confidence, develop gross motor skills and practise fundamental gymnastics skills including balancing, climbing, jumping and rolling, all through imaginative play.

We can't wait to share this bright and colourful theme with all of our KinderGym families over the next fortnight. See you in class! ☀️🌈💛

How to do it: Stand tall on one leg with arms reaching high! 🏗️

🚧 GRAB YOUR HARD HATS! Construction Week is Here! 🚜✨

Calling all tiny builders! For the next fortnight, our Kindergym is transforming into the ultimate active construction zone! 🏗️💛

We’re swapping tools for tumbling as our little crew builds big skills through fun, movement-based play.

Here is what’s on the blueprint for the next two weeks:

💣 Heavy Work, Big Fun: Hoisting "concrete", pushing tyres, and wheeling heavywheelbarrows to build strong bodies and calm minds!

🚜 Building Strong Foundations: Activating core strength by rolling the steamroller barrel and holding strong front support shapes.

🏗️ Steady Builders: Practicing our tall crane balances and navigating the beams with "boulders" to build confidence and body control!

🏍️ KinderGym Shape of the Week: Motorbike! 🏍️

This week's Kindergym Shape of the Week is Motorbike – our safe landing shape!

To make a Motorbike shape, children land with their feet apart, knees bent and arms reaching out in front. We use this shape every time we jump to help children land safely and with control.

Practising our Motorbike shape helps children:
⭐ Learn safe landing skills
⭐ Develop balance and body control
⭐ Strengthen muscles needed for jumping and landing
⭐ Build confidence and coordination

We can't wait to see all our little monkeys showing off their safe Motorbike landings in class this fortnight! 🐵

🌾🚜 New KinderGym Theme: Farmyard Friends! 🐮🐓

Our gym is getting a farmyard makeover! Over the next two weeks, children will explore farm-themed gymnastics designed to encourage climbing, balancing, jumping, swinging, rolling and coordination through fun, purposeful movement.

With farm inspired obstacle courses, equipment set-ups and group activities, each class will help children build confidence, develop fundamental movement skills and strengthen their gross motor development in a fun and engaging environment.

We can't wait to welcome all our little farmers for another fortnight of learning, movement and farmyard fun! 🐷🌾💚

A reminder that Moving Monkeys classes will be taking a short winter break for the school holidays ❄️

We’ll be closed for 2 weeks to rest, reset, and recharge 🔋✨

We’ve had the best term and have absolutely loved sharing in all our gymnasts’ progress, energy, and achievements 💙🤸‍♀️
