🏉 SEASON UPDATE... BIGGER THAN WE EVER DREAMED! 🦘💙🤍

With a couple of weeks between games, we've had the chance to catch our breath and reflect on what has already been an incredible start to the 2026 AFL Masters NSW season.

The growth of the Roos Masters has exceeded all expectations.

📈 In 2025, we had just 7 registered players.

📈 In 2026, we're already at 26 registered players and still growing!

Even better, more than 40 Roos have pulled on the blue and white this season. If you haven't registered yet, there's still time to jump on board!

So far we've shared the field with:
🏉 Balmain AFC Masters
🏉 Hornsby Berowra Eagles AFL Club
🏉 Macarthur Wombats - Footy for Fun
🏉 NorthWest Sydney Redbacks AFL Masters

We've also had Roos representing at other AFL Masters events, including our Over 50s playing with Sydney AFL Masters and the ANZAC Day game.

Other highlights include:
✅ Our first Intraclub Match after 2 years
✅ Players connected across our local football community, including Blue Mountains Kangaroos/Mountain Lions JAFL Club, Penrith Giants, Hawkesbury Saints JAFC, Penrith Rams and Hawkesbury Jets AFC

Another massive day of AFL Masters NSW yesterday at Dukes when NorthWest Sydney Redbacks AFL Masters visited.

As always the game was played in great spirit with goals flowing and cracking contests.

Best players on the day could not have a different background in Masters. Codie, first interclub with the Roos and Shielsy from the Redbacks who has probably played more games than Pendleberry.

Fantastic to have a good crowd on hand especially the Penrith Rams 'cheer' group supporting some of the new boys.

Season grows!!!

We’re excited to launch the Joey Club at our Blue Mountains AFL Masters home games — a fun, safe and family-friendly space for our little Roos! 🦘

At our club, it’s always been about more than just football…
More Than A Game. A Community.

The Joey Club gives parents and carers a place to bring the kids during Masters AFL games, with plenty to keep them entertained while enjoying a great day at Dukes Oval.

🎨 What’s on for kids?
✅ Colouring in & craft
✅ Fun games & quiet play
✅ TV & kids shows
✅ Snacks & drinks

📍 Where: Upstairs Club Rooms – Dukes Oval
📅 When: All home games at Dukes, from one hour before game starts for our game with NorthWest Sydney Redbacks AFL Masters

It's back to Interclub time!!!

This week we welcome NorthWest Sydney Redbacks AFL Masters to at the foot of The Mountains, Dukes Oval for an afternoon of AFL Masters NSW footy for fun!

Our games with the Redbacks are always with great true Masters Spirit, lots of fun and great chat afterwards. All new players are welcome to join in as well as any mates from other Masters NSW groups.

After a break for a couple of years we held our first Intraclub at Dukes Oval for 2026.

A cracking game of 8 on 8, saw lots of run, goals a plenty and some serious laughter! Highlights include:

+ Yeatsie somehow defeating gravity and injury.
+ 2 new Roos for their first games
+ Fantastic umpiring
+ 14 goals from Zane.

Great to have Dan Ardu for making the trip across.

As always some good banter afterwards and a visit to Brew Mountains Brewery.

This is Footy for Fun at its best. A great chance for anyone thinking about giving Masters AFL a go, to come along and have a go. Over 32, men and women, no previous AFL experience needed. Parents and supporters of our local Blue Mountains Kangaroos/Mountain Lions JAFL Club Penrith Giants Penrith Rams and Hawkesbury Jets AFC especially welcomed!!!
