The Farmborough Heights Community Tennis Club, in conjunction with Parker's Tennis, is offering Hotshots Tennis, private and group lessons for juniors and adults. Spots are available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. Tennis Wollongong have posted a notice in regards to tomorrow's (9th Dec) expected high temperatures...

"We have received a query about play in the extreme weather conditions forecast tomorrow (Saturday). Play may be called off in extreme weather if both team captains agree, however as conditions may vary from the forecast and from court to court all teams must turn up for play and a decision is made at each match. In the event that a match becomes unplayable after it has started it is scored as a rain interrupted match.
We are expecting 8.30am matches to be started. The 10.30am matches to be decided at the court between teams before starting.
If the temperature reaches 36 degrees, any matches being played should be stopped. If at any time a player, or players, feel that it is too hot , that match should also be stopped. If the matches are not completed it will be scored as for a wet match. If matches have not started they are also scored as a wet match
Please call the Tennis Wollongong office if there are any problems (4228 6570)"

Steady rain has set in so unfortunately the 8:30am game is not on. Rain radar is not promising for 10:30am but we will update closer to start time.
