⛵️✨ Training Academy Presentation Night ✨⛵️

What a fantastic night celebrating our Training Academy sailors and all they’ve achieved throughout the season! 🌊

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part, put in the hours, learnt new skills and embraced life on the water. We’re incredibly proud of the progress, confidence and enthusiasm shown by our sailors.

A special thank you to our amazing coaches, volunteers, families and supporters who make our Training Academy possible. 💙

And of course, a big thank you to Sarah, Ida, Greg and Lily for cooking up a delicious BBQ and keeping everyone well fed! 🌭🔥 It wouldn’t be a proper club night without a good feed!

Here’s to another season of learning, sailing and plenty of adventures on the water! ⛵️🌅

☀️ Good things are happening at the club! 🛠️

From Monday 21st September, we’ll be starting work on our new shade roof structure, with construction expected to take around 6 weeks.

While the middle section will be a little busy with works, the rest of the club remains open and we’d love to see you! ❤️

So don’t stay away — come down, bring your mates and enjoy the club while we make it even better. 🍻☀️

🌴⛵ What a day on the sandbar! 🌊☀️

Perfect conditions, a low tide, sizzling sausages, ice-cold drinks and plenty of good times with the Darwin Sailing Club crew!

The kids battled it out over the scavenger hunt, Hardy Aviation gave us a fly-by and wing dip 👋✈️, everyone enjoyed a swim, and then Talkin’ Swahili arrived with a band on board! 🎶🎸 Turns out a catamaran makes a pretty good stage!

All too soon the tide came in and the wind picked up, making for an interesting trip home for some, but everyone made it safely off the sandbar.

A huge thanks to Jack Benson and Jackal Marine for the loan of the barge, and to Peter Gibb, Stu Atwell, Andrea, Damo, Francis and everyone else who pitched in to make the day happen. 🙌

🛑Important notice for all.🛑

The Club, and will be closed for Breakfast and Lunch service due to a big function taking place.

The bistro will open its doors ready for Saturday Night Dinner, should anyone want to come down and catch a sunset!

And anyone coming to the club on Friday Evening and thinking of leaving your car in our parks. DONT! It might get sold off in Auction 😁

🌊 Wing-Surfing has officially arrived at Darwin Sailing Club! 🏄

Our Friday evening Youth Fleet sailors were the first to get out on the water and give wing-surfing a go with our instructor Josh.

Wing-surfing is to first step to learning to wing-foil. You don’t need any previous experience to give wing-surfing a try. Learning the basics is easier than you might think, making it the perfect activity for anyone keen to try something new.

Ready to experience the excitement for yourself? We’d love to get you out on the water!
