What you’ll learn:
✨How to feel correct abdominal bracing, particularly with postnatal considerations
✨Deeper awareness of your pelvic floor, diaphragm and core
✨Breathe connection and function in movement

As most of you know, I’m off to hike the overland trail this week so Coach Bode will be holding down the fort with a reduced class schedule. Essentially there will be no weekday daytime classes and no Tuesday or Thursday night class either. As usual if you can see it in the app then the class is on. See you all on the other side! 😊

Jump in on this free challenge! Just choose the goals that suit you, whether it’s one of them or all of them, let us give you some accountability and motivation to get started on your new habits!

1. One round of Cindy: that’s 5 pull ups, 10 push ups and 15 squats, miss a day just add it to the next. You can do chair dips or towel rows instead of pull ups if you don’t have access to a bar.
2. Hit your classes! Consistency is the key to success, so prioritise yourself and lay those strong foundations!
3. One long effort: this one is for the nervous system, your soul food! Whether it’s hiking St Patties Head every week, a trail ride, a run, a beach walk or a surf; soak up all the outdoors has to offer!
4. Nutrition: we all know nutrition has a massive impact so start that thing you’ve been meaning to start, whether it’s trying protein fortified coffee, hitting 30 different fruit and veg each week, cutting sugar, increasing fibre, being consistent with supplements, actually eating breakfast, or measuring your macros. Now is the time to get assistance in starting that habit, change happens slowly, one layer at a time and nutritional changes can be especially hard so take this chance to get a little extra motivation for yourself!
5. One other health goal: only if you have the capacity, but now’s a great time to introduce other health practices to help get your mind in the right place or know yourself on a deeper level. Things like journaling, breathwork, meditation, reading, stretching, or even tracking your cycle.
Don’t know where to start, feel free to dm and have a chat about it. When you’re ready, write your goals up on the board. We’ve got 21 days to get our shred on both mentally and physically to conquer Murph!

Here’s the holiday schedule, just closed for an extra day plus the public holidays. Happy to do a class in the daytime on Friday the 27th if there’s enough interest, just dm us. Also in January we are asking for 4 hrs notice for booking and cancelling classes, just to make things simpler for us to plan our holidays with the kids. Really appreciate you all and thanks I’m for supporting us this past year. See you soon Bodehaus Fam!

Testing out a few more times this week. Please note Tuesday 4:30pm has now moved to 4pm and Wednesdays 5pm class will be replaced with a 5:30pm PURE STRENGTH class. Also trialing 11am Fridays for an additional PURE STRENGTH class giving you four opportunities across the week to get some lifting in! As always we value your feedback so let us know which classes are keepers or what else you’d like to see timetabled!
